I have this bitter sweet feeling, I love John Ross so watching him at the end was really hurtful, but like I said in other site, that's what you get when you like the bad guy of the story...
Bobby is not how he was in the original series; he's too bitter. Bobby's condemning blackmail 1-2 episodes earlier and then blackmailing JR is beyond reason. People react to each and any bad news as if it's the end of the world.
Secondly, how come no one has any idea who Rebecca really is? I mean you expect them to know that Cliff had siblings as Bobby keeps in touch with him. Do they expect us to think that Cliff had her and hide her for all these years and trained her like a ninja just because his nephew Christopher was going to invent the next big thing????? and also why she was working with the guy who was taken orders from the bald dude who was taken orders from her own father????? It's like JR3 is getting orders of JR from a ranch-hand...
In original series, JR was believable. People thought he was the "bad" guy because he was open about what he did. He didn't feel regret. Actually, all the characters in Dallas acted same as JR but afterwards they had breakdowns because they couldn't face that they were the baddies as well. They regret what they did so people thought they were not bad. JR has been always about family, while Bobby was trying to get out of it ever since he married Pamela. In 2012 series, it shows as if Bobby was the family guy, while he hates JR3 for no reason than JR3 being JR's son. It makes no sense. JR gives southfork back to Bobby because "they are family" and then Bobby blackmails him in the next episode while being the good guy of the family? How is that possible???
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Pleased with how it set up for season 2.
