This season of Burn Notice has been exceptional and the midseason finale was too. The pacing was great and there was something for every kind of fan - just like it should be. While the twist wasn't so shocking, where they left off has me anxiously awaiting November.
Never saw that coming..Hate that we have to wait until November. One of the best episodes yet-and there have been a lot of really good episodes. The writing just keeps getting better. I felt so bad for Michael for the way Maddie treated him. I know she is hurting and needs to blame someone, but Michael was so hurt.
Awesome, and no doubt about that. Hugely satisfying flip of the script and introduction to the next big bad, that I never saw coming. Bummer for poor Brady as he turned out to be another casualty that Micheal with pay back in spades when he ever finds out who is the mastermind to this huge conspiracy - you know Card isn't the end of the trail. Way to twist the knife on us after Card gave that awesome pep talk for poor suffering Maddie.... Nov can't come soon enough..
Truly awesome episode and midseason finale. This season has kicked all kinds of ass. And I am still damn excited for the rest of the season! It amazes me that even into its 6th season the show still draws me in so well.
Now onto the episode. The Card twist wasn't that unexpected but it does create a very large obstacle Michael has to overcome, which should create some awesome stories and rest of the season. Loved "the guy with the chin" comment Card made, always love a reference to Bruce Campbell's chin or his career.
And that scene with Michael and Maddie was so gut-wrenchingly hard to watch. Brilliantly acted by Sharon Gless.
My only gripe with this season has been the overly sappy comments and talks Michael has with Fi. I'm all for them being together, but it does get annoying after awhile.
Awesome episode. Enough screen time with every character packed into 42 minutes. Not surprised about Card, never trusted him. Just the right amount of screen time with Michael and Fiona. U don't like them together or the fact that they're a couple, you shouldn't watch it then. Sorry.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
