  1. HOLY CRAP!! The train getting ready to take off was tense enough but then to off a 12 year old with a bullet to the forehead is just COLD.

This show is off the tracks.

  2. This show is so brilliant, it moves from an interrogation, to family drama, to a train robbery, to a murder. When Vince Gilligan's name came on screen after the shooting, I could only say "Wow."

  3. God I was on the edge of my seat during the whole train heist, because, as things often do for Walt and Jesse, I was expecting something to go wrong. And then they got the full 1000 gallons, the train was off, the conductors were none the wiser, and I thought... they did it! I was celebrating with them...

...and then the mystery kid shows up. Curious what will happen next, but my guess is Mike is going to kill Todd with his own gun and make it look like a murder suicide (what else are they going to do?

And, just a thought, with last week's "For the cancer to come back" line from Skyler, anyone else thinking that because she's been smoking (again?) that she'll get cancer, then Walt will say to her "I guess the cancer came back."

  4. Wow. Wow. Uhm. Back from two weeks of Olympic Games (*cries desperately*) and what the hell?! o.o So tense I may cry with joy.

  5. During the teaser I had no idea what was going on, but then leaning about the train, I could see it coming that he would stumble upon them.
Now the question will be how Jesse will react to this, Walter IMO won't like it but continue the operation.

  6. I wasn't overwhelmed by the train robbery. I think I watch too much Burn Notice. But the interrogation and Walt's reactions to why she put the hit out on Mike were awesome. I knew Landry was going to do something bad, I was expecting turning them in or some other cop-related betrayal/screwup, so the kid thing hit me totally out of left field. At the end, I was just like "oh no, poor Jesse, he will not be able to deal with this."

  7. Beyond a doubt the best show on TV right now. The train robbery was a lot of fun, a real caper and the cinematography in this show is simply beautiful. Then that ending talk about punching us and Jesse in the gut. Simply magnificent.

  8. I had thought about an ugly end for Todd since when they asked him his name. I didn't think that he would have been a crucial character in a situation like this.
They have made him repeat more than once if he understood that the train affair wasn't nobody business but theirs. He surely has, after all. However I would love to see if his gesture comes from an innate cruelty or some kind of fear of both Walt and Jesse (or both). Needless to say, however, that the narrative crescendo of this fifth season is capturing me in an incredible way; as much as the evolution / involution of the characters. I'm waiting only for a break in the wall that keeps the human side of Walt in hostage. Ah, just a small, final consideration: is it possible that by now the genius of the trio is that adorable idiot of Jesse? First with the magnet, then with being the only one to understand that Lydia didn't have anything to do with it with the GPS, now with the robbery train. Teacher's pet just grew up, yo. An emotional breakdown is coming for him, now.
