Thanks to Richard for the heads up.

ITV1 has renewed drama series Law & Order: UK, Scott & Bailey and Vera. Law & Order: UK will return for a seventh season, Scott & Bailey for a third season and Vera will also return for a third season.

Law & Order: UK, produced by Kudos Film and Television and Wolf Films, is based on the well known US series Law & Order and follows the investigation of a major crime by the Metropolitan Police Service and the subsequent prosecution undertaken by the Crown Prosecution Service. ITV1 has ordered 8 episodes for the show’s seventh season, which will enter production this November.

Casting News
Freema Agyeman and Harriet Walter will not be returning for the recently announced seventh season of ITV1′s drama series Law & Order: UK.

    finally.. I didn't think it was coming back.. but I'm sorry to see Freema Agyeman and Harriet Walter won't be back....

    It's a shame that Freema won't be back but I figured that would be the case given her role on The Carrie Diaries.

    This is awesome news, I was wondering whether or not it would get renewed.
    I agree, I'll be missing Freema!
    Didn't know about Harriet Walter not coming back, that sucks :(

    Carrie Diaries is cancelled. Freeman's sold out for an American show, and now she is indeed free: she's our of work!

    I'm happy, by the time I discovered this show, the season was over and I heard it had been cancelled. I love BBC, difficult at times to get some shows here, depends on your carrier. But will be watching this for sure. Nashville Tn & Medford Ore
