Still no news on whether there will be a ninth season of Curb your Enthusiasm, fingers crossed. Since season 4 ended in March 2004, there have been 18-22 months between each season, but this time it appears the gap between season 8 (and hopefully) season 9 will be longer - season 8 having aired last summer, it seems impossible to have a new batch of comedy gold ready for July 2013 with no announcement made so far and Larry busy with this film for the next 3-4 months.
But this improv comedy starring LD in a clearly Curbian role/story is quite reminiscent of the amazing HBO series, and it kind of makes up for the lack of a new season next year. Or does it not ? Sound off on this film in the comments !

Can't we just have a 'Curb' movie? Whatever happens no doubt this will be brilliant! I can see Season 9 of 'Curb' airing next September perhaps? If they start filming early next year? Here's hoping!
