    It's a prologue from the Homeland's DVD (this scene is supposed happen between end of season 1 and beginning of season 2) but I'm glad he goes to see her and he still cares about her =)

    This is not a sneak peek from episode 2.01 "The Smile", but a DVD/Blu-ray feature titled "The Visit: A Prologue to Season 2". It is indeed a prologue which takes place between the first season finale and the second season premiere, but it's not a part of the actual second season.
