Update: 15:45 We've added Region Free Version of the Video below.
H+:The Digital Series Episode 1: "Driving Under"
SAN FRANCISCO, USA - 5 MINUTES BEFORE IT HAPPENED
Prologue: Fragments of news reports show a future world as it adopts H+: a radical new way to be connected to information and each other through only your thoughts, via a high-tech implant. While the breakthrough is hotly anticipated by the masses, it is a change not easily adopted by its discontents. We segue to a couple parking their car in an underground airport garage. The husband, Lee, surreptitiously watches a football game on his H+, upsetting his wife Julie who wants him to drive safely. Their domestic squabble is interrupted by a bizarre spectacle throwing their world into chaos.
H Plus The Digital Series Episode 2: "On Their Level"
SAN FRANCISCO, USA - 15 SECONDS AFTER IT HAPPENED
Julie and Lee stand shocked at the sudden chaos surrounding them in the lot and then risk a similar fate as Lee goes to aid the fallen people. A mysterious bearded man in glasses, Kenneth, appears and leads a small group down to Level 6, where he insists they're safe. But some in the group are skeptical of their hero and, namely, his theory for what has just happened.
Blocked Versions
Damn, it appears it's USA only. I understand when Showtime or Starz region blocked the season/series première they post on Youtube, but blocking a webseries meant exclusively for the World Wide Web doesn't make much sense to me. That, plus the robbery that took place at the Coventry stadium minutes ago following another painful robbery Tuesday, it's really not a good afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI was able to watch in the UK.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you?
I'm in France. It's weird that you get to have it in the UK and we don't. My theory is that it's a conspiracy against me.
ReplyDeleteGive me a few mins and I'll upload a version for everyone :)
ReplyDeleteOk, try now :)
ReplyDeleteI was surprised by how much of the time of these episodes was taken up by the credits! It's intersting, but I feel like I need more than a couple of minutes to make my mind up about it. Awaiting the promised episodes 4-6 some time today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the region free videos, they work just fine.
ReplyDeleteAfter the opening credits of X-Men, X-Men 2 and House, it definitely looks like Bryan Singer has a thing for the human brain, with a quick journey through synapses as an intro. And I like the (new ?) logo of his Bad Hat Harry production company :).
I liked the first episode better than the second, which I felt was too short (2:25' of actual content), got rid of the 'main' character of the first episode too quickly/easily (he didn't go down at the end of episode 1.01, I thought he was going to survive despite his implant) and the cliffhanger was very predictable.
I liked the visuals of the first episode, with the subjective camera showing schematics and maps appearing before the eyes, it looks cool.
It has a lot of potential, but maybe I'll wait until the whole season is released to watch the rest.
Stupid bunch of arrogants Americans. "Blah blah we are going to make a ground breaking web series"... then why are they blocking the videos??
ReplyDeleteWell, I believe in digital distribution, but this short form... not the way to go (for me).
ReplyDeleteI prefer the original 1 hour narrative.
Great Concept! you can stand there waving your hands about in Mid air and talking to your self and no one labels you insane! lol I would have to watch it a little bit longer I think!
ReplyDeleteWow awesome. Would so do this w/o the virus.
ReplyDeletewill u or someone else be adding the next episodes?
ReplyDeleteYep, as soon as they are released we'll post them on the site :)
