Details on Majorino's role are being kept under wraps, but executive producer Shonda Rhimes recently told TVGuide.com that just because they've hired some new actors — like the previously cast Gaius Charles and Camilla Luddington, who also guest-starred alongside Majorino on True Blood this season — does not mean they're filling the supposed vacancies left by the death of Lexie (Chyler Leigh) and the exit of Eric Dane from the series.
"It's really interesting that everybody seems to think we've hired new series regulars," Rhimes said. "It's not. We hired some really lovely guest stars who are doing some really lovely guest-star stuff. It boils down to the fact that all our doctors are attendings and one of the things that I want to see our attendings doing is teach, so that's what we're seeing."

I knew this a few weeks ago. One of the guest stars Tweeted a call sheet, and Tina's name was listed. I'm excited about this! I love her on Bones.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see this sudden flurry of high-profile gigs that Majorino is booking. Good for her.
ReplyDeleteShonda finds it interesting, well why not she let people believe that by not denying it or clarifying the situation..Seems to me Shonda instigates these situations, she likes the buzz.
ReplyDeleteGood for Tina, she was good on Bones!
So, is this a one episode thing or recurring? It sounds like one episode, but the way they talk about the other recurring characters has me confused.
ReplyDeleteShe's a perfect fit for Grey's. I'd love to see her guest spot become something more.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I absolutely love her, and she's been getting some great guest spots lately. I still don't know how I feel about the new season of Grey's overall, though. Here's hoping the finale makes me want to stick around!
