For a season this short, they spend too much time on fluff, and not enough digging into the story line. This is all too predictable, the weapon they destroyed, was keeping the other aliens away. These aliens will be friendly with the humans, and help destroy the enemy...then turn on the Humans. Old story line...been there, done that. Lost In Space used this same deception plot back in the 60's, only it unfolded in one hour.
Well if the bad guys are shooting at the sky where these guys came from it coould go two ways... 1. Enemy of my enemy is my friend. OR 2. They are even worse then the bad guys and the bad guys are trying to take them out to mantain their goal on earth. WHO KNOWS??? Season 3!!
I truly wish the seasons were a bit longer. I mean, their storyline can easily be extended in more episodes, and they could easily add more secondary characters/explore the ones they have in more "centric episodes". Anyway, I thought season 2 was very good, especially the second half of it. And I had already liked season 1. I think the show is far from perfect, but I still really enjoy it a lot!
I agree. There are a lot more areas of the story they can explore and extend the season by 3 episodes at least, if not more. But I guess if the writers think 10 episodes is the best format, then I think they should stick to it. The last thing we need is for the show's quality to suffer.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Looks like ET came back.
ReplyDeleteHow is that a teaser promo? that is just the end of the season 2 finale!
ReplyDeleteThat's what TNT called it.
