History !
After Spanish, Anthropology and Biology, this new year will see the Greendale Seven studying History.
Joel McHale tweeted this photo ("Look what I read last night") :
They had their first table read a few minutes ago (writer Megan Ganz was there).
UPDATE (credit for the photo goes to writer Andy Bobrow) :
Childish Gambino is on tour so Donald Glover couldn't be here (he's like Batman in a way), but Chevy Chase was here though (good news, imo, the balance of the group prevails above all other factors). And the person playing with his/her pen at the bottom left of the pic should be careful Annie's Boobs doesn't come and snatch it (although with her 'starring' role on the new NBC sitcom Animal Practice, it's not likely we see more of Annie's Boobs next season at Greendale).

Ooh, yay! I'm a history major and this is pretty exciting.
ReplyDeleteI know Glover wasn't there, he is in on tour
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there will be numerous attempts by Abed to legitimize pop culture history over standard history.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the new writers deliver! They've got a great set up now with this subject. *history major*
ReplyDeleteYou mean show runners? Atleast 5 of the writers from last season stayed on.
ReplyDeleteI have seen the argument that nowadays pop culture history is more known than standard history
ReplyDeleteIf that were true it wouldn't surprise me at all.
ReplyDeleteHistory. HA! Almost as bad as the fake class names from 2x09. Studyology and Learning! among others. Don't get me wrong. I love it. But college history courses have specific areas of study. Like the American Revolution or Western Civilization and the like. Anyway, yay Community!
ReplyDeleteHistory is the best ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see more of the class than we did of Biology last year, and it should be funny and weird with the guy they got for the professor. I'm still a little wary without Dan Harmon, but since the cast is the same and they still got a lot of their writers, I'm cautiously optimistic.
ReplyDeleteI hope this'll lead to a few historical context episodes.
