Castle has tapped former Gossip Girl matriarch Caroline Lagerfelt to guest star during the show’s upcoming fifth season.

The veteran actress — whose GG alter ego, CeCe, died of cancer last winter — will play Angelica Henley, a wealthy socialite who employed the victim on one of Castle and Beckett’s cases.

    If Lagerfelt's character ends up dying in this episode of Castle, I can almost guarantee her death won't be as lame as it was on Gossip Girl.
