The Doctor Who and Torchwood star has signed for a recurring role in Arrow’s debut season. Producers are not saying much about his character, only revealing that he will play a “well-dressed man” who is “as mysterious as he is wealthy … he is an acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City.”

Excuse me while I ASSDGKODKMVSFCVN!!! Now, THIS is a good reason to watch this show!
ReplyDeleteThat was unexpected, well at least any future Arrow convention panels will be fun.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a part of me thinks Barrowman films shows and does plays just so he can interact with the fans afterward! XD
ReplyDeleteThe man is so good dealing with the public it is scary...
He certainly does love the fans, I still want him on a show with someone like Misha Collins they would mess with the fans so much it would be hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI'm quite impressed with the amount of quality actors and actresses that Arrow has been able to acquire in both a regular and recurring capacity. It's quite an accomplishment for a CW genre show.
ReplyDeleteoh my god that is absolutely horrible casting!! :O
ReplyDeleteAnd suddenly this show became about ten times more awesome.
ReplyDeleteSuper excited! Even if I wasn't going to watch Arrow anyway, this news would make me want to!
ReplyDeleteasdsfg WHAT?? this is per-fect.
ReplyDeletemake the show nice and campy
ReplyDeleteI really don't know how to take this news. I love JB, but as Captain Jack, so if his character is similar then it could be cool. I'm still not sure I wanna watch this show, but I'm getting more and more tempted with each tidbit...
ReplyDeleteThat's another very good reason to watch Arrow ! I'm happy to have John on another show because we have NO news of Torchwood. So, it's a pleasure :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm guaranteed to watch at least one episode. (though I am definitely checking out the pilot. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat casting - another reason to watch.
ReplyDeleteand now it looks like CW just made a huge bid to be the shows to watch live on Wednesdays as opposed to coming off the dvr....
ReplyDeleteBest news yet.
ReplyDeleteInteresting casting for sure.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is due to good scripts rather than (only) good paychecks.
ReplyDeleteAre you being ironic or dead serious?
ReplyDeleteI doubt it's the paycheck. The CW doesn't pay much at all compared to broadcast networks.
ReplyDeleteThan that's a good sign.
