The CW’s Arrow is getting another classic DC Comics character — and Stephen Amell’s vigilante is getting a potential love interest.
The highly anticipated fall action-drama series is adding The Huntress for a multi-episode arc. Not only is the character coming to the show, but EW.com has also learned the role has just been filled: The Huntress will be played by Aussie TV actress Jessica De Gouw

She's cute, but I've never heard of her.
ReplyDeleteMe neither. That photo looks like she was auditioning to be an extra in Black Swan.
ReplyDeleteI tried googling her name and there are very few pictures of her.
ReplyDeleteI guess that explains the photo then - lack of choice.
ReplyDeleteyay huntress!! holy crap for the first season they sure going all out on characters lol. Smallville waited 4 years to go this many dc comics people lol. Huntress tho thats good she'll start as a Lois/Tess type who is a foe but also a love interest. Or better yet like Catwoman. I hope they do good with her but i wonder how this will get in with Laurel and Oliver's relationship. If she finds out who he really is.
ReplyDeleteshould have been amy acker
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteI suddenly remember Birds of Prey
ReplyDeleteCOME ON!! Are tv producers THAT out of ideas that they can't make original stories that work!? If the CW wants to make a Batman show; THEN MAKE A BATMAN SHOW! Stop taking recycled ideas and forcing them into a show that is clearly acting as a surrogate for another character; that is by the way a recycled, reboot tv series hanging onto the latent appeal of the same character from another tv series that also used too many surrogate characters.
ReplyDeleteIt's never left my mind! :) Great show.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for this! Except I'd read that Ashley Scott had read for a part on this show and I'd really hoped she'd get this part since she played Huntress already in Birds of Prey 10 yrs ago. I guess maybe it's because she's older now...oh well i'm still excited. Birds of Prey/Huntress has stuck with me this long and I've never forgotten it...I'm super interested in how she'll be characterized in this show.
ReplyDeleteI really liked it as well. So sad it got cancelled. It had a really good set up
ReplyDeleteRecycled ideas? Huntress is far from being a Batman character nowadays.
