The Killing - Cancelled by AMC

Cancelled Shows
After much deliberation, we’ve come to the difficult decision not to renew ‘The Killing’ for a third season. AMC is incredibly proud of the show and is fortunate to have worked with such a talented team on this project, from showrunner Veena Sud and our terrific partners at Fox Television Studios to the talented, dedicated crew and exceptional cast.
OMG NO. Not when I'm just getting into it :(
ReplyDeletewell that sucks
ReplyDeleteAnother good show bites the dust so we can make room for more reality crap.
ReplyDeleteI used to like it a lot in the first season, but after the second one i just couldn't care less!
ReplyDeleteYep, it was one of the better shows for the last couple of years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame
ReplyDeleteNo surprise here, Felt inevitable after focusing on one murder mystery for two seasons. Still, was pretty god while it lasted.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised at all, d there was a huge blacklash after the S1 finale and the ratings dipped because of it.
ReplyDeleteI suspected it was doomed after last year's finale.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was fairly well done, but I will not miss it honestly. This year felt like more of the same as last year and it just dragged for me.
..//..COMMON HAS TO BE A BIG JOKE.//. I hope other network will take it
ReplyDeleteNOOOOO! Noooo! I love this show!
ReplyDeleteI guess it comes as no surprise after the reaction after the S1 finale. ...
ReplyDeleteI really liked the show, so sad it has been cancelled. Can´t say I´m surpriced though. I love all the actors, maybe they can use some of them in the new AMC show, Area 51 ?!
ReplyDeleteAre you freaking kidding me?!?!?! This was one of the few good shows left on tv and of course they had to get rid of it. Lets just make some more room for crappy reality shows and get rid of smart, well written dramas. So incredibly mad right now.
ReplyDeleteWTF come on AMC r u nuts????
ReplyDeleteBetween the reaction of the season 1 finale and the ratings drop for season two this news isn't really a surprise.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I wasn't watching it but I'm really surprised
ReplyDeleteI am sad to see this go. Really liked it.
ReplyDeleteEven after Veen Sud gfiving everyone the bait & switch in season 1 finale & I swore never to watch it again.. I found myself back on board in season 2.
Wasnt a big shock to me. Still, disappointing.
This will go down as one of my favourite shows of the past few years. But I have to say, it's probably a good thing if it gets cancelled. At least now they can't ruin it. The show was about Rosie Larssen. We've had closure on that case, so I'm satisfied.
ReplyDeleteThat would be awesome, see Damages for instance. At least for one more season, one more case and no tricks in the finale.
