Less than one month after starting a campaign to help complete a documentary about late Spartacus star Andy Whitfield’s battle with cancer, the people behind the project have met their funding goal on Kickstarter. But what now?
So so glad that they reached their targets. He was absolutely amazing in Spartacus and it takes an incredibly brave man to let someone come in and record his end. His wife and kids must be so proud of him and happy to know that their dad'd story will be heard and seen by the world.
I saw that news on the fundraising website. I am so glad that they reached the goal! Andy was wonderful and truly a kind soul... I was so heartbroken to hear that he had died. He brought life and emotion to the character of Spartacus. He was a great talent, and he will be missed. I look forward to seeing the documentary, although it will probably be a bit painful to watch his last days.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
