    I absolutely loved this episode so much! Everything about it was fantastic. And even though he was psychotic, poor Matt.

    Yeah the whole Xena-Allison thing won't last past 2 or 3 episodes, just like the end of last season.

    The slow motion jumping at the Kanima was cool but really Alison should stick to her skills of running away. I'm surprised she didn't scream for Scott.

    Scott's mom knows =O well she knows that Teen Wolf's budget is awful, she may not have figured the werewolf part. I was kind of hoping Scott would take out the bullet or something. Stiles and Derek can I say LOL they totally put that in there for the Sterek fans, I very much ship their bromance. Big twist of Scott following Gerard yet at the same time Gerard is ready to kill him...I'm surprised he didn't know Alison's mom died. Drowning Matt was pretty mean...but I guess less questions than a bullet wound if he drowns since he can't swim (they killed what 5 ppl this episode?). Gerard is taking over the Kanima? I guess Jackson is going to be going after the pack on Gerard's instructions...Peter (who looks much younger than he did last season lol too much make up) was not amused. Next episode the Argents hunt Derek and Scott plays lacrosse! His mother will not be happy haha.

    Ummm...As with the last few episodes the final scene left me a little stunned. But I'll come back to that. Decided I shouldn't open this web page until I watched the entire episode so I jotted my notes in another file as I was watching.

    Gerard is one manipulative son of a bitch. Please…Please…Please…if there is any justice in TV land Gerard will die an extremely violent bloody death. :-)



    The theme of the episode seems to be plans going off the rails.


    I giggled furiously when the doctor told Derek he's not a particularly competent alpha. The really huge thing was finally finding out what the good Doc is doing in town.


    Oh good. The Argents decided to go for subtlety. sigh. Opening fire on the police station was really sloppy. Does no one in the Argent army notice that Grandpa Argent is missing a couple of cans from his six pack?
    Gerard is now Jackson's best friend...this will NOT be good. You know...Matt was very definitely the bad guy...but watching him drowned....I felt bad for him.
    Poor Derek...his face was barely visible but he still seemed so betrayed when he realized that Scott had been doing Gerard's bidding.
    What a way for Scott's Mom to find out. I kept thinking Matt was going to taunt her with it then Derek dashed in and I knew she was going to see for herself.
    Stiles....the Abominable Snowman crack was awesome, and the look on his face when Matt was standing over his father was heartbreaking.
    Another awesome episode. Whoa.

    It was like men with guns in monster movies. If one bullet doesn't kill the monster none of them will.


    If the arrow to the SKULL doesn't kill the kanima...jumping on him with a knife isn't gonna do much better. :-) Now, if she'd gone for an axe to try and cut off Jackson's head I might have been impressed.

    Totally agree with you, prpleight! Poor Derek! Even with half his face in the shadows I got a 'deeply betrayed' feeling out of that scene's 4 seconds. He's always helping Scott, and saving Stiles.
    And poor Scott, much be hard to see your mom back away in fear(?) and horror at the sight of you.
    I really hope Gerard dies in the season finale, in the hands of Derek or Scott... Ooooh, maybe he and Peter go one on one because Peter killed his daughter? Maybe they kill eat other. =)
    I actually also expected Alison to scream for Scott to come save her...
    That was a cruel way for Matt to die, sure he was psyco... but still. I felt bad he relived his terrifing near death pool drowing as he died. =/

    this was a brilliant episode.

    Scott's mother knowing will be interesting. Especially considering that there's a possibility that there's some supernatural mysteries in their past with the whole their missing father thing.

    Allison was awesome. i am sorry but anyone BLAMING Allison for irrationally acting upon her emotions9something male cast members have been doing) is either incredibly sexist or not very bright. The girl just lost her mother, who killed herself because of what Derek did. It does not matter that She could have lived or why Derek bit her. What matters is that she is dead. And Allison has always been someone who HATES being useless and weak. When someone close to you dies, you always have this tendency to want to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. And so does Allison. And she manages to be capable, resourceful and badass, even though she is being manipulated by Gerard.


    And yes, Poor Derek, how dare the main character not trust you after you tried to kill half his friend, continuously hid things from him, gutted him a few times and have been bordering on insensitive abusive villain for last season and the half~

    A lot of what Derek getting is deserving - he does not trust anyone, thus no one trusts him either. he kept secrets behind everyone's back thus everyone does the same to him.

    Also Scott most likely is playing double-agent type of deal and will screw Gerard over when he gets the chance. fandom might thing of Scott as "dumb", but again and again he has proved that he can be very manipulative when situation needs that.

    Someone needs an axe lol. I'm not saying Alison isn't capable of being strong and fighting for herself but she is still untrained and being manipulated like crazy. With the longer season next year I think Alison will be more involved with weaponry etc but with that kanima...frankly they were all screwed.

    I'm starting to feel bad for derek because really all he's done is help scott and all scott does is not trust him he's an idiot to be working with gerard and the scene where derek saw them was sooo sad!! but it was another good episode! someone really needs to tell scott that allisons mother died

    someone really needs to make it clear to allison that her mother got accidentally injured why she was very much deliberately trying to murder a 16 year old boy! and then chose to die instead of accept her 'bad luck'
