  1. I loved it! Annie's new boss is interesting. Glad Joan didn't die (I was worried it was her), but I'm a little sad about Jai.

    Pretty good premiere!

  2. Haven't watched yet but couldn't resist the spoiler. I'm bummed the actor is gone but I did NOT like the character. He didn't seem to have *any* kind of code...and that just rubs me the wrong way. :-D

  4. USA was 2 for 2 in the great season starts tonight. Bummer about Jai, but when they mentioned that a major character would die, I kinda figured that it might be him as it never felt like they knew what to do with the character the past couple of seasons, but I was worried that it might be Joan as well. So far I like he shake up for everyone so we can see them all operate outside the box that we are used to seeing them in... Nice to see Annie stretching her spy legs and conducting seduction as part of her arsenal, even when it seem that it the most obvious image of a spy outside of the typical cloak and dagger image...

  5. Well, at least Joan didn't die, but since she was barely in the episode and I was treated to a spy feminism 101 lecture that was a small comfort. And we got rid of Jai, but replaced with yet another guy who instantly falls for Annie.

Do spies not watch Bond movies or spy thrillers or TV? 'Cause suspicion of strangers especially attractive women who hit on you immediately seems like a prerequisite. Even Michael Westen has let us know that the car crash is a red flag for spies. Urg. I was hoping they'd come up with a way to get us more Auggie and Joan in the field, but instead they split everybody up and we're pretending Annie has some skills outside of dumb luck, a strange every male thinks I'm hot pheromone, and speaking every language on the planet. Urg. Maybe next week will be better.

  6. My first reaction to the episode was relief - Joan gets to stick around, even if we didn't see much of her in the premiere (boo), and I don't have to muster up the energy to care about Jai's story lines anymore... and MAN did they kill him off fast! I do love Sendhil Ramamurthy, though, so I hope he lands somewhere good. All in all, the episode was pretty good for a premiere, too. I can't wait to see where they take the rest of the season!

  7. Wow,they didn't waste any time getting rid of Jai. For awhile i thought it might be her sister that gets killed, glad it wasn't...I liked the season opener, but why does she always have to have some kind of relationship with a guy,its bugging the shit out of me.
