    Oh God...that ending was just gut wrenching... Poor Brenda Leigh. I don't know how she could possibly deal with that right now. :(

    They killed Mama!!! I can't believe it, but what a heartbreaking ending to last night's eppy. I'm looking forward to The Closer spinoff (as a love this ensemble cast), but I sure will miss Kyra Sedgwick's portrayal of Chief Johnson. One of the greatest female leads television has ever seen. These last couple of episodes show it best.

    Made me cry! Cast is amazing. Reminds me when I lost my mom and so, I cried harder. Love Kyra Sedgewick and will miss Chief Johnson.

    Again, Kyra Sedgwick was simply AMAZING in that final scene. Gut wrenching, I cried my eyeballs out.

    for some reason i cant stop watching that last scene. it was just so well done and completely heartbreaking...not often does a moment that meaningful come around in television. truly amazing... i am really interested in what mama was going to tell brenda (prob that she was sick maybe) but i will miss mamas home cooking and their visits during christmas time...so sad the closer is ending.
