I think many of us expected half of what happened, just not the other half of it. I'm curious where the story will go and how big this mystery shooter will become (is the company that burned Michael already back?). Bastard! And was it me, or was Fi not looking good at the end there?
Even knowing that it was coming and who would die still didn't lessen the impact, and the set up with Nate and Micheal being at odds made the end hit that much harder and then there was the scene when Micheal had to tell his mother what had happened. Anson is gone (good riddance) but obviously the rabbit hole still has some depth and villains to boot... I wonder how they will explain that as well as setup the road from here. Awesome ep. And Fiona walking out all sexy and slow with the wind machine going and the circular camera shot going round and round was awesome on it's own...
Yeah, we knew Nate was going to die but it was done in a nicely dramatic fashion. Add to it's Anson's suden dimise and we have a great genuine mystery. I'm still betting on the CIA being behind the assassinations as well as the attempted murder of Fiona.
CIA would be an interesting angle, but I've heard many people guess that and I fear it would be too obvious (along with Rebecca being the shooter). I guess we'll see how it all plays out.
Wow, what an amazing episode! Probably the best all around episode I've ever seen from this show. The side story was top notch as well which is what really made this episode the best ever.
I thoroughly enjoyed the episode last night. Packed full of high energy, angst, suspense, comedy and sadness too. Great job by everyone. So sad that Nate died and I didn't know Anson would go down in such a big way. Glad he's gone, I've had enough. I am thrilled Fiona is back home with Michael where she belongs. I do too believe that the CIA was behind killing Anson and Nate got caught in the crossfire. Card, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
I thought it was a great ep. Well crafted given that the audience knew someone was going to die. There were a few moments when I thought...'oh maybe my theory is wrong.' and I thought they did a nice job of getting me to do that. Great ep
Gee i knew this was the episode,i knew it was coming but holy shit that blew me away. The look on Micheal's face when he saw Neal going down just gutted me. And Michael having to tell Fi and Mom,oh man this is going to be a hard season to get through..Can't even say i got satisfaction that Anson was finally killed.

ReplyDeleteI am going to miss Nate. I am glad we got to see an emotional death scene, instead of him getting shot in the head (cough, cough NCIS).
ReplyDeleteThat was a great episode! both happy and sad. what amazing actors this show has.
ReplyDeleteThe scene with Michael and Madelene got to me.

ReplyDeletethe word .//.AWESOME.//. is a short word to describe this episode pure adrenaline rush and expectation.
ReplyDeleteI cried at the end, I don't usually cry for these type of things, it was emotional Michael and Fi being reunited in slow motion.

ReplyDeleteYeah I did too after rewatching. Seeing Fi and Michael back together again makes me happy and sad at the same time.

ReplyDeleteI was really impressed with Sharon Gless' performance in that scene. The subtle touch of not hugging Michael back.
