I’m hearing that Once Upon a Time will introduce Lancelot as a “sword for hire with nothing to lose,” a onetime proud member of King Arthur’s Round Table who has since been banished, tearing him away from his true love (Queen Guinevere, as lore tells us).

Please don't let this mean that Boyd is one of the deaths.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is awesome!
More new characters? I don't know what to think
ReplyDeleteI'm a little skeptical about all these new character additions, but I'm intrigued nonetheless. I guess this in the knight casting call we saw a while back - at least now we know why he needs a brittish accent, lol.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me I'm not the only one who isn't upset with all of these new character additions? I'm rather excited and think it adds to the whole variety of the show! The producers didn't seem to have a problem keeping the main focus on our main characters last year -- why would they have a problem with it this year? Anyways, I'm quite excited to see this guy play a dashing Sir Lancelot!
ReplyDeleteYeah, not having high hopes for Boyd now.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! King Arthur! I love that story!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see how his English accent turns out.
ReplyDeleteHe could probably do both shows. Teen Wolf is going to be based in LA next year and Vancouver (where OOAT films) is only like an hour away by plan
ReplyDeletee. Actors go back and forth all the time. It doesn't mean Boyd is going to die.
Good casting, but I wish we would hear less about all these new characters and more about the ones we already have. I hope the writers don't go overboard with all these characters and forget about the main characters.
ReplyDeleteI am assuming that a lot of the 'new characters' are there for one-off episodes, so are just guest roles.
ReplyDeleteAh, drats! I was hoping for Josh Holloway as Lancelot, but considering the former casting announcement for an African-American/Brit, I think this could be interesting and I am liking the diversity!
ReplyDeleteA lot of times these shows are written where a little story in any given episode expounds on parallels to the main cast and/or the season's over all arc, it helps solidify what's happening and gives the audience a sense of fate/specific direction for these people.
ReplyDeleteWell this should be a fun addition. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on this. I'm really excited my these new additions. They sound even interesting. I think Season 2 already sounds like it'll be a great season. Sept can't come soon enough. =)
ReplyDelete''And so we're recurting Denis to sit out our very very very round table!'' - Couldn't resist, kudos for anyone who actually gets this!
