"Once Upon A Time" showrunners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have extended their overall deal with ABC Studios.
The duo will remain at Disney for an additional three years, but that could extend to a fourth year should "Once" be granted a third season in 2013-14. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The duo scored this past season as creators and executive producers of "Once," the highest-rated new scripted series on ABC and third most watched show overall on the network. As part of the deal, they are committing to remain showrunners on the series for the duration of its run.
