20th Century Fox TV, the studio that produces the comedy for ABC, is hopeful the actors will attend, despite a lawsuit filed by the adult members of the cast Monday. Stars Ty Burrell, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Eric Stonestreet are going to court in an attempt to void their current deals by claiming their pacts violate California’s “Seven-Year Rule” prohibiting personal service contracts from lasting longer than seven years.

This is ridiculous. They signed the contract, Full fill your contract. Otherwise what's the point. Yes, maybe the network screwed the over but just because the show got popular doesn't mean u have to be greedy. Especially
