And this is the part that bugs me about Bones, they're still doing will they or won't they. Which annoys me to no end. Also the meaty stuff of the being on the run will be passed over with a three month time jump. I expect most things to be back to normal after the premiere episode, which is a shame. They could have had a nice 4 episode arc out of this, giving Bones a bit of a darker side. But since this is a procedural, you have to be able to tune in next week without having to think what happened last week. Ugh.
totally agree with everything you said ... very disappointed in Bones as I have been for the last two+ years. I really expected more from this show. Oh Well
It'll be good seeing Walter and Astrid working together again. Although it sounds like Walter's problems will be a lot more serious. I love the summer but Sept.28 still seems a long time to wait.
Ooh, should be fun now Steve knows Danno can swim.. CBS are unbelievable if they don't let CSI: NY have a 200th episode. The 100th was great, and the 200th would be even better.
I wonder what they mean by this. Is it being in Amber that caused side effects, or is it the brain growth syrem he took? -Going with the second, maybe either it makes him overly authoritative (Every aspect of Walter has shown us criminal tendencies), or are there unforseen side effects, like it wipes out his memories and gives him new ones? -Or is it like he's somebody else (taped in - ghost network??????)
We'll see how it goes, but I am not getting my hopes up in any case. I don't actually like being negative on a show, but it's slipping which is a shame. :(
I was hoping we'd get past the broken Walter and move on to the badass, morally questionable Walter that he was always afraid of becoming and why he had pieces of his brain removed to begin with.
"... in the premiere episode Elena will remember a very important moment from Season 2: when Damon told her he loved her. But unlike past flashbacks we've seen, Elena doesn't realize right away that she's watching a memory from the past rather than experiencing a moment in the present."
I'd like to see how Vampire Diaries pulls that off without making Elena look like a dimwit. After all, no one else in transition on this show had a problem sorting out memory from reality.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Broken Walter always gives John Noble meaty stuff to work on.
ReplyDeleteHe better get an Emmy (nomination) next year. ;)
