    No. Where'd you get that? Sam and Amelia will have broken up before episode 1 so we will see her in flash backs mostly. However, Jared kept saying at Com-Con that they plan to return Amelia to the present day timeline too so I doubt that she is dead.

    I like that the flashbacks for both brother will be spread over the season, it'll be like unravelling the story a little at a time instead of just one episode of flashbacks for each brother. There was always the risk that they might to a season 4 on Sam again and tell it all in one episode. This also puts JC's line about perceptions into perspective. As time goes on more flashbacks will be seen and more information divulged. I can see the fandom ripping into a character one episode only for the next flashback to happen in an episode further into the season that might leave them eating their words?

    I thought Sam's new girl was going to appear first in episode 3? Now it's October 3rd? We all know it is a flashback. Jared said at Comic Con that his relationship with her was over and it's all in flashbacks.

    She's in episode 3 which is the first one being shot because Jensen is directing. Apparently she will also be in episode 1 on October 3. I hope stretching things out will actually let them show Sam's time as well as Dean's.

    So far it sounds like there's going to be flashbacks in all of the first three episodes, which is great. I remember being so disappointed when Singer said that we'd seen Dean get out of purgatory quickly. I'm so glad we'll be getting the full story anyways.

    I actually saw conflicting spoilers about whether or not we'd see Amelia in the present timeline. Just because she and Sam broke up doesn't mean she's gone forever.

    it is possible that Ausellio assumes the first episode filmed is the first one that will air and that we will first see Amelia via flashback in episode 3 (the first filmed) and not in the first episode of the season.
    Who knows?! for now lets assume we'll see her via flashback in episodes 1 and 3
