    I did some re-edit myself with Photoshop and I get more and more the feeling it is Peter indeed... but still... It is questionable..

    I think you can see it best in B/W. The color seems to distracts a bit.... but it is still not sharp or clear.


    Maybe a HQ will be out soon and we can see better....

    I don't know, for me it totally looks like Peter. I think you want him to look like Peter so your Subconscious tell your brain it's him LOL (I sound a bit like Walter, don't I?)

    That is a large part of it and why I am holding off until I see a HQ version. It is blurry enough right now that it looks like Peter to me too, but I would not be surprised if it turns out to not look like him in the end either....

    Just upgraded my cable too so I can get the Science Channel to be able to watch Fringe syndication. And July 14th John Noble returns with new episodes of Dark Matters. See laura, told you I would do it :)

    No its not a long coat if you look at the large poster you can see where the end of his jacket is. Did the Observers always wear gloves? I don't remember?..

    I've also been thinking about S5,remember After John Scott died and Olivia had a sort of mind meld with him,anyway he told her they would see each other again. I don't think he was talking about in the afterlife,i think he meant in the Fringe life.But he was never referred to again,i don't remember Olivia even reflecting on it. I thought it was supposed to be addressed but with only 13 episodes left i don't see how that is possible,but i can't see it not being addressed,they made such a big deal about it....Any thoughts?

    I don't remember if they where gloves. I don't think I recall them in them at all...but Peter has worn gloves and so has Mr. Jones...But it might be metaphoric to "doing dirt work" playing with the film nior references or something like hiding themselves...


    As for John Scott we know that in the Amber timeline that Olivia was partners with him again, and he died again. I think the astral projections and/or the sharing of conscience space (which in itself could be a type of ethereal plane) IS very important IMO to understanding collective conscience and reincarnation aspect to the series and it's take on multiple universes.


    Being in that space allows for secrets of the family of universes to be revealed...For example Mr. X....In one way when we compare the 3 time lines we have (with the third in "The Day We Died" being very minimal glimpse of a past-future) we see that leaders of crazy theological and scientifically advanced terrorist organizations tend to be the killers of blue Olivia in each time line, but if we also say that Fringe is about coming full circle with things that happened in the time line the Observers were created, then we have to assume the characters are "shifting roles" (eastern philosophy = reincarnation -> actions (Karma) -->Dharma (Micro + Macro) working towards enlightenment, freedom, truth, and/or redemption....


    If we look again to William Bell and Mr. X, we can see that despite the fact that William Bell may not have been the one to pull the trigger on blue Olivia, he and his work are responsible for the accumulations of her death(s), including the time where he shared conscience and invaded her body. The way we see the curtain peel back from time line to time line, lets us see that William Bell and his connection to Walter(s) is the reason Olivia dies (and why the universes died). -But here in the time line where seemingly Olivia has cheated, and William Bell's plans have been averted...That's why I think the Observers come to do whatever they do also because, they are beings that are also subjected to the shifting of roles, as we get closer to the truth of their actual creation.

    Are these different people or three views of September? I hope they don't go overboard with the Observer story and that we get to see a lot of the four main characters that we've come to know and love. Otherwise I'll demand a season 6!

    Ha! I like hearing the sound of S6! No this isn't September i tweeted Michael yesterday,he didn't come out and it wasn't but he did tweet me back and say "His hat fir better." I think with Michael starring in Evita they had to use someone else in the poster,maybe that's why there is a glare in it? Just speculating mind you...

    It's a great tease and makes me feel a little stronger that we will understand the significance of season 4, including Peter's emergence, William Bell's plans, and some of the more conceptual ideas presented that had yet to be fully realized/explained in the arc of the season, as I could see those things not just catering to what we might not understand, but to the abilities and technologies in the upcoming amberverse future...

    It's an interesting idea to see the same position in the back (past) have something different in the middle (profile = midway/ half the truth/ turning- like a unlocking a door), and then to have the forground one to be in the same position as the background one, but it's so close that it's in our faces, that we can no longer fully see him.


    Plus it shows a diagonal PATTERN that is reminiscent of both their time line/time period/universe jumping capabilities, but also the game of chess (Bishops move diagonal across the board)
