  2. The beginning of the end. :(

  3. I guess they're a bit slower (or more methodical) than other dramas that are just about to begin filming already.

HIC is on Scandal, but it would be great to see him back. GH's character died, and as well it is Fringe idk i think his storyline is over.

  5. GH didn't die. Are you crazy? She reunited with Peter at the end of Letters of Transit.

I thought you were talking about Gerald Herrison I'm sorry my bad. Georgina Haig, I got it funny thing is I must have forgot right when I typed it before bc even when I first read it I thought Georgina Haig. Sorry. Yeah!!! I totally want her to be back, I think she is a shewin though b/c we know it will be in the future and she is Etta so we can't very well have it without polivias little girl. Question is where is liv in the future? Who raised Etta?

  9. You were thinking of Jared Harris? Seems a little bit odd to make that connection; but yes, I was speaking of Georgina Haig.

I always assumed Nina was the one that raised Etta, given the way they acted around each other in Letters of Transit. Probably Peter and Olivia gave her to Nina before they were ambered.

As to where Olivia is in 2036, I have no idea. Perhaps she escaped into the other universe.

wouldn't that stillmean she would be aged, I don't think they are going to age her and I don't think she would leaver her daughter behind and flee to the other universe alone. That doesn't sound right. She wouldn't leave etta if she could prevent it. My theory: She died in child birth and that is what she saw in her pause when telling peter she was preg. Or shes ambered, or just dead. Maybe Rachel raised her. I didn't think of nina raising her that is an interesting idea. I think either she wont be in the future or she will be the same age like peter in the future having also been in some sort of suspended annimation bc I don't think theyd have peter 35ish and liv what like 45/50 that wouldn't work.
I think that they are going to split it between 2015/and 2036 so even if liv is dead we'd still get her in the present timeline.

  11. Henry Ian Cusick has left Scandal, by mutual decision. So he is free to come back as Simon. Hope he does.

I kinda remember that now, I was happy and still am b/c now he can come back to Fringe. Peter did say that they would go back for her friend.

  13. *WHOOP* Wonder if they need a 43 year old woman with a Dutch accent ^_^ !

  14. I should have just wrote their names out! But ya, Cusick is out of Scandal, and I meant Haig not Harris (although with show you never know!).

  15. hmmm. Maybe Nina Sharp. (She was kind of perturbed and said that Etta always disrupts her lunch hour...someone had suggested to me once, that that scene was sort of a public put on and that they have a much deeper relationship than that, which I think is certainly possible)

But I also know that in the season 1-3 blue time line, Olivia and Rachel seemingly lost both their parents and it's unclear, minus a very vague reference to Aunt Missy, who raised them. So there could be something like a generational pass along from time line to time line (event wise) from season 1-3 Olivia to season 4 Etta...

I can't wait to find out how Olivia figures back into that future, and or if we will be dealing with 2 futures simultaneously to attempt to create another alternate future...?????????

  16. Because from the promos (not the episode) we got wind of "Ministry of Science", that perhaps Olivia is in stasis some where? I think it would make great sense that stasis ruins would work on the cortexiphaners, especially since that Observers (September) already admitted to Peter that part of what they were previously doing was coming to know their own beginnings (all the time lines show events (fringe events) that are apart of how they originally came to be with Shapeshifters and Cortexiphan leading the way), so if they have become more intense with controlling humanity, they may be more intense to study what would be considered early models of their evolution.

If liv were stuck on a stasis ruin for 20 yrs 1) that would totally suck, 2) She'd age 3) She'd escape for her daugher and family within hours of intrapment. or are you saying that you think she'd in amber or something somewhere in "ministry of science" and if so why didn't they get her out or amber Etta too before "now-2036"??

  18. 1/2 We don't know if she would or would not age in a stasis ruin, but usually in sci-fi, any type of stasis tech. prevents your body from aging as that is what a state of stasis is.

    3. At the end of season 4 her abilities seemed "reduced" or gone dormant, as she was described as "being normal", so she may not have been able to escape them, assuming the Observers would be behind The Ministry of Science since the promo also showed the diamond marks that were present on the Loyalists military uniforms at the train station.

    Brave New World Pt2 Transcript:
WALTER: (sitting and waiting for information on Olivia's condition) You know, Peter, I’ve been thinking. Due to the intense energy utilization, Cortexiphan levels in the body should be almost negligible.PETER: Meaning what, Walter?WALTER: Well, meaning that she won't be able to run around setting things on fire or doing superhuman things. Excuse me, Miss. Is that Lemon Jell-o?ORDERLY: These are urine samples.WALTER: Oh, well, in that case, no, thank you. I'm more peckish than thirsty.PETER: So you're saying Olivia's normal now?WALTER: Well, the treatments did leave a biological signature, so I suppose some abilities could one day emerge, but, for all intents and purposes, yes, I believe she may be.

    4. "Letters of Transit" shows us that the main team was trapped in amber since 2015...When Etta talks to Rick and Simon, they both imply that what Etta believed about the Fringe team was a myth, until Rick had found them, and Etta shows Walter to Simon.

    Letters Of Transit Transcript:

RICK: Oh, baby... you don't know the half of it. Remember all those times I said you were nuts? (opens the rear doors to the van) Looks like I was wrong. Go ahead.HENRIETTA BISHOP: Does anyone else know about this? (hops inside to check the cargo)------------------------------

HENRIETTA BISHOP: Any info on the missing team.

SIMON FOSTER: Really? Again? You've got to let this go.HENRIETTA BISHOP: Simon --SIMON FOSTER: It's a myth, 'Etta. The original Fringe team didn't vanish. They aren't missing. They died twenty years ago. They aren't coming back to save us from the Observers. They aren't in a desert or, Peru, or immortal.HENRIETTA BISHOP: You're right. They're in Amber. And I've got one of them right here.

So it's assumed that most people didn't know what happened to the former Fringe team...So this in itself, whether the Observers knew where they were, or not is another mystery, but one could speculate that they did know, but because Walter and his team are incarnates of people who may have originally created the Observers, the Observers may have felt like they couldn't completely destroy counterparts, (or new versions of) their actual creators....

cool. So you think that walter/liv/peter created the observers?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Just my theory/take: I think more or less it hangs on previous versions of William Bell and Walter. (But I think the others aka 'First People' are involved in some way) -But I think in each time line created there are "role shifts" (playing on 'shape shifter') and (this is hinted in some of the comics too. In the team are art thieves) that some of the characters may have been more "criminal" in previous life times (even Peter himself had a criminal persona prior to joining the season 1-3 time lines' Fringe Division--and Widmark, the Observer featured in Letters of Transit, may be a reference to a famous Film Nior actor, Richard Widmark, who played a famous criminal-villain in "The Kiss of Death" ) and so there may be something to them having to deal with the consequences of their original actions ("Frankenstein" referenced a few times), as some of them become better, and as the Observers seem to have gone from general agent to something far more militant. (some type of role reversal)
