Huhu monday 24th,can't wait.
ReplyDeleteThe floundering DWtS isn't doing much for Castle as a lead-in anymore. I wish ABC had something stronger to prop-up Castle with.
ReplyDeleteWell my ABC lineup starts September 30.Sunday Is only night I care about.
ReplyDeleteDWTS has better ratings than Castle, Castle in entering its what 4th or 5th season? Shouldn't it be able to stand on its own two feet by now?
ReplyDelete.
That's pretty late for Happy Endings, how will I wait so long? :(
ReplyDeleteBut at least it's in time for another awesome Halloween episode!
1. The goal of any network scheduler is to not leave any of their shows to have to support themselves. Ideally, schedules should be constructed so all shows have a supporting role with one another. A rising tide lifts all boats.
ReplyDelete2. DWtS is skewing older and older every season and its eating into Castle's demo against the younger-skewing CBS Monday lineup.
3. Yes, Castle can stand on its own but I'd like to see the show prosper and not merely survive, which is what will happen without better programming support.
4. "entering its what 4th or 5th season? Shouldn't it be able to stand on its own two feet by now?" Not necessarily. Just look at Fringe, Chuck, Private Practice, or Gossip Girl.
Way too later for the channel's best comedies - Happy Endings and Don't Trust in cast people thought I meant Last Man Standing ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is how this two hour DWTS results show is going to affect what CTV does with their already-set-for-months schedule.
ReplyDeleteI kind of really want it to be September now.
ReplyDeleteThursdays and Sundays, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteWell, and I'm going to give Nashville a try as well.
ReplyDeleteIn the past, CTV have used 7pm for some of the primetime programs.
ReplyDeleteIs it september yet?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for Castle!!!
ReplyDeletecastle, once upon a time and grace anatomy for me
ReplyDeleteWow, Happy Endings is coming back super late... then again, I was worried it wouldn't come back at all for a while there, so I'll take it!
ReplyDeletetwo months left to OUAT cant wait
