    Don't want to watch this lol cause I won't want to rewatch it next week lol. Is this a new trend of like releasing a quarter of the episode in advance like Teen Wolf?

    I think that's the point. Emily lost someone she loved and she's gone off the deep end. I wouldn't be surprised if she feels crippling guilt over getting Maya involved in her life. Tell me you wouldn't experience a dramatic personality shift while trying to deal with it. ;)

    abc has been using this method of promotion for quite some time. the first one i recall seeing personally, was the beginning of the season six premiere of grey's anatomy, and that was back in 2009. although in the past year, it's been used a lot more than usual. i quite like it, to be honest.
