     I thought it was great but its only one episode,lets see how it is after a few more...but i like it a lot!!

    The scenery was really pretty. But after The Glades, I was a little destination procedural'd out. I'm hoping they do more with the supporting cast, because some of them felt wasted (I'm looking at you Lou Diamond Phillips). I'll give it another chance 'cause...Starbuck.

    Liked it..

    Just the first ep, so time will tell.... but it already has plenty good things going ! :

    *  Not the usual stuff... CSI, NCIS, Bones, Law & Order, etc.  Yes, it's a "who done it" kinda show, but  we don't have to sit thru all the "slides & micro processing.'  

    *  Characters are flawed & real, dealing with everyday life & it's strife.   

    *  Actors we have missed:  Katee Sackoff (STARBUCK !!!   YAY)
                                            Bailey Chase ( ironically playing another "BUTCH" from Saving Grace)
                                            Cassidy Freeman  ( a kinder more loving Tess Mercer?  lol  )
                                            Lou D. Phillips (WHERE has he been? )
                               
    *  Mr. Longmire himself:    Robert Taylor is a perfectly flawed, sad, driven man, with strong values.  Kinda like his sarcastic sense of humor ! ! !   Looks the very picture of a seasoned cowboy.  

    *  Somewhat a Western:   When was the last time there was a DECENT western on tv?   Firefly?-  Brisco County? -   Magnificent Seven?     .........      All of which were cancelled during or immediately following the first season !  Soooo, here's to Longmire.......... may it stay on the air and on the open range ! ! ! ! !
