Hit and Miss - American première date + teaser + Audience Network Clip

The great 6-part miniseries that started on Sky Atlantic on Monday, May 22 will commence its US run on Wednesday, July 11 at 10/9c only on DirecTV's Audience Network, following the 10-episode fifth and final season of Damages, also débuting on July 11. Here's a promotional teaser :

Besides, DirecTV released a 2-minute clip of their exclusive programming on The Audience Network, including footage of Hit and Miss, the third season of Call Me Fitz (a great comedy that you should all watch, I feel lonely - it's a Canadian show and even Tariq doesn't seem to be watching it ^^), the fifth season of Damages and much more :

The song used is Every teardrop is a waterfall, by Coldplay.

[UPDATE] My bad, I had not seen the previous video had already been posted two days ago. [/UPDATE]

At first I thought the images of Melissa George laughing (0:18) and crying (1:43) were from Hunted, the exciting new spy thriller from Frank Spotnitz, but it's actually from The Slap, an Australian series. The image of Sam Neill (0:20) comes from the first episode of Rake, another Australian series shown on DirecTV. And did you notice the glimpses at Thandie Newton (0:24 & 1:24) ? She isn't in any of DirecTV's shows... for now, but soon she will since she's going to star in Rogue, DirecTV's first true original series (NBC and FX did entirely produce Friday Night Lights and Damages' first 2-3 seasons before they went to the Audience Network) coming in 2013.

  1.  For anyone that has ever complained about there being nothing original on TV, this is the miniseries for you.
