  2. I really love this melody at the end of the clip...
Also, it's gonna be fun to see the past, Elena&Matt and everything being just kinda...normal. Can't wait!

  3. What did she mean with: "locked himself in the bathroom again?" He was taking drugs or you know... the things male teenagers do when they're 14? lol

I think Jeremy started taking drugs after his parents died.Elena meant the other thing...;))

  7. Yes, it's a quite tragic, yet lovely melody.

  8. For the last producer preview of the season you start it off with a masturbation joke?  That's a waste of video.  There are much more important things going on than 14 year old Jeremy playing with himself.  Moving on...

I think Alaric is at least one of the people who dies, if there is more than one casualty.  Elena passed out from the after effects of head trauma.  I'm guessing that she may have a clot or a brain bleed and codes for a few seconds in the E.R.  Since Alaric dies if Elena dies, this would be a good loophole to get rid of "evil Alaric."

  9. Either Elena or Jeremy will probably end up turning.
    Alaric will die.
At least one Original vampire will die, probably Rebekah but most likely, Kol. Can't imagine they would bother with Elijah, but he is by no means safe, I guess. They definitely will not kill off Klaus.

  10. Oh, interesting theory regarding Alaric/Elena. I thought they were hinting at Elena turning which I did not expect so soon. It actually makes a lot of sense that they would use it to get rid of Alaric.

  11.  I hope they do something with Jeremy.  Anything.  I don't care if he's turned or if he has some sort of epiphany that changes his outlook on life but he's been the old annoyingly snide Jeremy from season one ever since he was brought back from Colorado.  It needs to stop.

  12. Julie Plec's whole thing here is "life was messed up before the Vampires, just in a subtler, less fatal way" basically. That's what she's been saying for a few weeks now.

My guess: Jeremy started his drug habit early, Matt was not quite the golden boy, Tyler and Caroline were both hateful, Bonnie was a bit vapid and she was living a life she didn't really want. The accident happened, the vampires happened, and they all evaluated their life and made changes. In spite of the fact that they are in constant danger, they are all better people now. That's my feeling as to what conclusion Elena is going to make when looking back at her life.

As for what happens, I think Elena will take vampire blood to heal herself and kill herself later to protect someone from Alarprick. He dies for good, she transitions and even though they spend more time with Stefan and Elena in the episode, she chooses Damon - because the story kind of needs her to.

  13. In his defense, it makes sense that he's regressed to S1 considering Elena had Damon reset his brain...

But yes, I agree that they need to do something about Jeremy. The problem is that the character isn't all that interesting. Frankly, all his love interests were more interesting than he is. Including annoying Vicky. It's too bad they killed all his gaymances with Tyler and Matt.

  14. Haha, I would die of shock if she picks Damon already. I think you're wrong, I think she will pick herself. The next season(s) however, will be Delena. Maybe they'll get like two - similar to Stelena did and then in the 6th (final?) season, she will really struggle to make a final decision.

  15. I guess we'll see.

I don't get that impression, though. Kelly Tayloring it seems to be the dead opposite of her whole arc the last few episodes (being dead against losing anyone), and it doesn't seem like she's looking at her past wistfully, wanting simpler times.

It seems like she's simply going to pull some introspective insight and make her choice.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah,I'm with you.But for Alaric to die Elena has to die as well,so I think she'll be the one to turn..
Personally,I don't want any of the Originals to die.But since this is VD at least one of them will.
I agree, they won't kill Klaus. And I don't think Kol is in the finale. That leaves us with Rebekah and Elijah and my money is on Rebekah. At this point,no matter which sibling dies, the others will be deeply affected.I just think that with Rebekah the aftermath will be even more dramatic. She's the youngest and we've seen that she's close with all three of her brothers, especially Klaus.

Unless the writers really want to shock the fans,in which case they'll kill Elijah. But I don't think they'll go there..

  17. "It seems like she's simply going to pull some introspective insight and make her choice based on how she perceives herself."
But why would her choice then be Damon? You're right that the next stage has to be Delena but I don't think there has been enough build-up.

    ReplyDelete
  18. But I'm pretty sure I read either or both Julie Plec and Nate confirm that Kol was in the finale...

Regarding Elijah, I don't see it - not just because he's my favourite - but because they have done it so many times already. He's a fan favourite but not someone they need to "squeeze" into the cast since he has another show. I'm also less inclined to believe Bex because she's had so much development. OTOH, Kol seems "expendable" since he hasn't gotten any development at all and is according to Julie a "psychopathic killer" or something.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone said anything about Kol being in the finale. There was a tweet from Julie about the final script and Nate replied if there was any Kol in the last pages(or something like that)...Also,we've heard a few spoilers saying that Elijah and Rebekah are back in town searching for Klaus.I don't know,I just think that if Kol was back he'd be mentioned in the same lines.
    But again,maybe I'm mistaken..

The reason you believe Rebekah will not die can also work for the opposite argument. She had a great character development, they made us like her and now they're gonna kill her...It also happened with Jenna.Don't get me wrong,I don't want them to,but they're cruel like that.
And I don't want Kol to die,I'd like to get into his character more.It was different with Finn,I think his death was used to reveal the bloodline thing. But it would be great to get to know Kol a little better, see his relationship with his siblings.

Plec should know being a "psychopathic killer" doesn't mean anything on this show.If that was the case two out of the three main characters should be dead already!

    ReplyDelete
  20. No, no, you could be right, I think that might have been the case, and for some reason, I took that to support he was in the finale.

Hmm, now I'm hoping he ISN'T in it, lol. Because I adore Kol and don't want him to die.

You're right about Bex too. It definitely could mean the opposite but I disagree about comparing to Jenna. Jenna hardly got any development, and even KW admitted that he didn't know how to write for her/cared to write for her. The moment Jenna found out about vampires, she was basically a walking target.

I guess, I just expect Kol to be in the episode because I'm thinking they are wrapping up the storyline of the Originals (being the enemy).

Ahh, but Julie considers Damon and Stefan to be "heroes", you know. But yes, Kol doesn't need to continue having that label - that is, if they bother to develop his character. IF Bex does die, it definitely decreases the chances of Kol dying too. But seriously, killing off another female character in favour of bringing in another male? I was thinking they could integrate Bex into the cast, because they could develop romantic storylines with her and Matt/Stefan/Damon.

And since it's obligatory for all Bonnie's love interests to die - I wonder if her new beau will survive?

  21.  Boring is acceptable for a character as seldom used as Jeremy.  Being annoying, however, is not.  :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. What I meant about Jenna is that she got a little more in the center of things and then she died. Her character development is basically nonexistent, you're right.

The perfect plan would be for all the Originals to survive and until tomorrow night,we can dream! ; )

    As for Jamie,I'm a little more than surprised that he's still breathing.I don't know if he's in tomorrow's episode.If he is,his odds aren't good!

    ReplyDelete
  23. If we are dreaming, we should dream bigger! Like a spin-off for the Originals. I find that far more interesting than any of CW's new pilot shows.

LOL, maybe the twist for next episode is *gasp* Jamie making it to S4?!!! Would surely be a much more unexpected twist that whatever Elena's choice will be!

  24. If Elena dies while wearing the ring doesn't that kill Alaric, since she did died and he dies with her?

    ReplyDelete
  25.  The ring doesn't work with Elena because she's a supernatural entity.

  26.  lol perhaps 14 yr old Jeremy was really picky about his hairstyling...

  27. Do what the SPN people do.  We have contests, write stories, and have marathons.  It helps.

  28. I think it really depends on how they frame the choice. Does she choose Damon because she loves him more? Honestly, you're right, they haven't built to that conclusion and they haven't earned it. But I'm not sure that's the logic behind the decision.

Nina Dobrev's interviews at EW and Zap2it this morning are pretty telling. She basically comes out and says she'll choose one over the other, and it's about temptation and "which brother she can live without".

I think you can frame that to fit either Damon or Stefan, depending on your criteria. Although maybe the sequence at the end of Homecoming was chekov's gun loading.

  29. A short 90 minutes remain!! So excited for this finale :D and Nikita next week which better get renewed!
