Merlin - Julian Murphy - "Series six talks have begun"

Merlin exec Julian Murphy has confirmed that there is "talk" of a sixth series. Murphy and Merlin co-creator Johnny Capps previously told Digital Spy that the series could continue beyond the upcoming fifth run.

     Why?
    There is a five season plan right now, but if they can continue past (with the reveal etc all played out), I'd love that.

    I have only just started series 3... yep, I am a bit behind. It took me a while to get in to it, but I love it now.

    Because for them it's just another reason to postpone Merlin's magic reveal and the show isn't that enjoyable anymore. The only thing it's got going for them is great actors and I just want them to move onto better projects.
    If they do decide to do a series six, I'll still watch it, but it's just going to be another series of the same anyway.

     I'm hoping it won't be like that. I'm hoping the reveal happens in season 5, and if there is a season 6 it gives us a view into the Camelot from the legends, with their own twist obviously :P

    I tend to agree with you....if it mean pushing the reveal to another year....I won,t be too happy about it. I was starting to get tired of waiting the reveal by last year.  .... I'm tired of Arthur threating Merlin like crap 90% of the time, like someone who can't do anything all season long (except in the finales)

    This exactly. Their relationship is my favorite thing about the show but it is so inconsistent. In the premiers and the finales it's all kinds of epic but in the episodes inbetween you never know what to expect.

    I hope so too! I had all kinds of hopes for S3 and S4 too though and they both were dissapointing for me. (I mean, S4 started great but the second half, oh man :/)

    I'm tired of seeing Merlin  telling something, being 300% right, Arthur don't believe me, at the end he found out Merlin was right, say something like ''I should've believe you'' and...in the next episode; merlin found something, he's right, go tell Arthur who still doesn't give him a chance, not even the smallest benefit of the doubts..........

    Doesn't Arthur get tired from time to time to see Merlin being always right and still threating him like crap?
