Haven - Season 2 - Possible Release Date for DVD & Blu-Ray

Following eOne's tweet recently stating "Hey #Haven Fans! Check out HAVEN: COMPLETE SECOND SEASON starring #EmilyRose & #EricBalfour. Available to buy on BLU-RAY & DVD 9/11!", this possible September 11th release date is (close to) confirming a release date for "Haven"'s second season on both formats. We'll keep you updated on any further information!

I wonder why they can't release these before the new season begins? Its a pain in the ass,i missed some episodes last year and unless i catch it when they replay it on SyFy i won't know what the hell is going on.Gak!

Maybe it takes hell of a lot of time to copy and make each and every DVD/BD? I mean, individually, we're just one person, but how many people in total buy these sets? Can't be a one-day-job to make...?

Oh of course its time consuming,a lot of work must go into it,but its also not like having 24 episodes to put out. Besides most of the work is already done,the shooting is done,maybe they will add bloopers,a commentary,i would think they pick things as they go along instead of leaving everything till the end...I jut st figured if NBC can put out a full season before the next season starts,they should be able to do it with a show that has an even shorter season....Then again what do i know?

Season 2 of Haven will be released in Australia on DVD... Next Wednesday ( May 16th )

Seems like a long wait to me. Surprised they didn;t release it before the new season starts, that is what I thought was normal DVD release procedure.

I don't see why it is going to be so long to release Season 2. The second season is already on DVD in Germany and France since about March 2012.

Just noticed that Syfy released their new Summer schedule and "Haven," is not on it. This may be the reason why the S2 DVD/BD set won't be out until September. Season 3 may not be starting until this fall (October, maybe), so E-One may be scheduling the DVD release for a month before the fall premiere. Hope this helps.

Syfy just anounced, via Twitter, that the third season of "Haven" will premiere on Friday, September 21. As such, with a Sept. 11 release date, the Season 2 DVD/BD will be available 10 days before the new season starts. Even though the new season is a little more than 4 months away, I'm just glad a start date has been set. Hope you are all watching in September.
