Read a really interesting article from the NY Times about how TV's position on LGBT characters has changed in the past few years.

  1. That was pretty interesting! I'm so glad "The New Normal" got picked up, and I hope Partners will be too.

Callie and Arizona are one of my favorite couples - And I remember the outrage that erupted when Erica and Callie started dating. I miss her sometimes, although Calzona is a better fit.

  2. It seems like writers don't know how to write well for gay characters on TV. From shows I've seen, the gay characters were short-term stunts, most of the time. Grey's Anatomy, I suppose, has done the best at giving their gay characters storylines. But even Callie and Arizona seem to have been reduced to tokens this year. It seems to me that shows are so quick to bring on gay characters to make themselves seem progressively that they end up quickly running into brick walls with keeping those characters relevant.

  3.  Personally i love Lost Girl's attitude towards sexuality the most and i wish US  series would follow suit

  4. Word is all I can say. Lost girl is a lovely series, tho its a bit campy, and out there. But the handle on sexuality and bi-sexuality etc is very in theme with the series. Plus Anna Silk is Hotness impersonated.
