What the f ... holy s ... how in the ... wh ... huh? This show is so unbelievably amazing! This friday is going to rock and I can't even say it's going to suck to have to wait until the Fall because we've been blessed with it being there in the fall.
That's it! I think Fringe has officially trumped Lost as my favorite show ever now.
Оh my God, they're going EPIC again! Last season Walter was the First people, now Bell is gonna create the Big bang in the past and "start" the whole universe, he wants to be God! I bet that's what's gonna happen!
(-_-).... (-_~)... (~_~)... (~_o)... (o_o)... (0_0)... \\\(#_#)/// A GREAT EXPLOSION.
Didn't know that a series could potentially blow your brain! 3 more torturous days... Fringe has done it again. Fringe has basically taken the concept of science-fiction on its own fringe of excellence.
Dor's words of wisdon: WTF. Now seriously, what was that? a new world? a new universe? WITH FREAKIN' DINOSAURS?! Goddammit, William. You better stay in the show for the 5th season, Or I'll collapse you and your pre-historic mind-blowing universe.
thanks GOD someone point a thing that i think i saw in this clip DINOSAURS may be he want to create a real live FLINTSTONES CHARACTER slave people with a new creations sound like pure alternative SHIT
Also, is that Walter accessing the Amber switch at 1:36? I wonder how that fits into the 4.19 future where we plainly see that William in some way succeeds. lol
I think he's loading a gun. Don't forget that before they enter the amber, William suppose to do something to Olivia (Walter said to Astrid in 4.19 "Don't forget what he did to Olivia" or something like this) - and she suppose to give birth first. So I don't think it'll happend on Friday.
I really don't want this show to end up with dinosaurs and sh**, Please No Fringe, don't go there. Terra Nova was canceled for a reason it didn't work.
That I couldn't have seen coming..And as a matter of fact the amber intro was allways about this brave new world, not about this timeline changed...think about it...
I... don't know what to say. For the first time ever, I genuinely don't know what's going to happen. Usually, I can make an educated guess (I predicted Bell's return for months), but now there's nothing. Damn you, Pinkner and Wyman.
I like your wisdom, lol i couldn't believe it myself. Man, Bell has officially became the Mad Scientist! I guess it all depends on what happens if Bell comes back or not S5?
I think it is just a gun... upside down.. But nice thought! He is dressed just like he was in 2036. But he ambers himself after the observer invasion so it can't be.
Unless its an accelerated birth?!!!!! I don't think it'll happen, too much else happening in this one episode but, just sayin', it wouldn't be the first accelerated birth on Fringe! In fact there's been a few.
So, in this one episode they are presumably going to tie up all of the following story lines?
1. Stop DRJ 2. Reveal Bell's plan (but I doubt stop him as he is still "free and alive" in amber in 2036. 3. Who shot September? 4. Who is Mr X? (maybe) 5. Does Olivia have to die? (does she die??) 6. Save Astrid 7. Possible pregnancy confirmation given what we know about Etta
And that doesn't even mention setting up season 5 (2036 future?) or the Red-verse!
Although I think a few things can be removed from your list. 1. DRJ has been stopped. (Last episode) 2. Olivia does not have to die NOW. In fact she can't die now since Etta has to be born in the very near future.
My guess is that Olivia lives and that is the reason the 2036 future exists as in the state we saw. Season 5 could be them trying to course correct, or Olivia realizing she has to sacrifice herself to set things right.
I think the Red verse has played its part honestly. I know many love the alternates (some more then the originals even), but it's possible that the last 13 episodes deal with just "our" Blue universe.
It felt to me like the Red universe understood it could be sacrificing their world when the Machine was shut off. We may have seen the last of them since so many of their storylines were tied up nicely.
I seriously doubt we will get more than a glance at Bell-topia (Bellhalla?). It will be shown as Bell's endgame and Fringe team will thwart his plans in some manner that sets up Season 5.
I think the part that makes it just that much more difficult is them tossing in Episode 4.19. That makes every "feel" different and it at least makes me try to fit possible outcomes in line with the 2036 future we saw. Maybe that was the episodes intent on some level? Misdirection?
If you just substitute Bell for DRJ (or already assumed Jones with was Bell) not much has actually changed. Fringe team still needs to stop the same basic event from occurring. Stopping the machine did not necessarily stop Bell from being able to collapse the two universes. It can be started again or perhaps he has a "plan B" in reserve.
It's getting tougher and tougher to avoid watching this trailer! I want to theorize in more detail with more information, but I want to go into the finale not having been spoilered too.... Grrrr.
True. By stopping DRJ I guess I meant more his plan, which apparently was Bell's plan afterall, but I would like some resolution on the shapeshifters - I doubt it will happen though. Bigger stories to tell.
And I agree, we won't SEE the red verse again but I'd like to know if their world is safe.
I like your theory on Olivia living being the cause of what is happening in 2036. She obviously lives, but Bell also obviously does something to her. And somehow his hand is important. Add that to the list - Bell's hand!
Who the hell knows what's going to happen. That's why its so great! Whatever they do will probably be something none of us predicted and it'll be better than all of our ideas.
Beyond the fact that the quantum mechanics are becoming more fantastic on verge of magic, that there are no longer explanations to these new things (mechanics have a slap bang feel), and the elaborate play on nanites (matter to control matter) and Dinos (begining of the world) makes me think we are in a nightmare ("bad dream") sanario. I really think that 2036 is not intended for the season 4 time line. I think they will all die.
So, this is what you think happened in the real timeline (season 1-3), after Peter saw 2026 and its devastation:
The Peterless universe is some sort of Inception-style, Christmas Carol collective dream to show Peter what would happen if he never existed.
We snap back out of the dream at some point in the second part of Brave New World; and we're at the Machine in the last episode of season 3 (Peter gets to finish the sentence he was saying before he was erased).Peter DOESN'T destroy the other side and makes the bridge room to reverse the environmental degradation. The two sides work out their differences. The other side is de-ambered (just like in this timeline.Peter and Olivia get together, and have a child named Henrietta. In essence, every good thing that happened because of Peterlessness happened for real; but Peter was actually around to see them. The version of 2026 we saw in The Day We Died doesn't happen. However, in 2015, the Observers begin their invasion. And we're back into Letters Of Transit. Is this what you're trying to say?
No. Peter disappeared from his time line at the end of season 3 and had an experience (season 4) and then he comes home., but he has been missing for @ 3 years.
The audience was just privileged to see the season 1-3's time line's up and coming 2036. It doesn't relate to season 4 yet. (that's why it was special #19th episode because it was like a preview)
So then, Peter really DID disappear from 2011. All this season is happening in somewhat real time (three years in the real timeline, one in the simulation). Letters of Transit is essentially non-canon to the rest of this season.
Peter wakes up in 2015 (perhaps in the Machine, wearing the ragged clothing from the drawing). Olivia has had the baby, but the Observer invasion hasn't happened yet.
I think we might be able to gleen the importance of Bell's hand in this finale, but I think it won't be spelled out until next season.
My first thought was that Bell has a lab, prison, or maybe even Bell's Arc and to access it they need Bellie's hand.
My second theory was that Bell managed to switch bodies with Olivia via the Soul Magnets. So in 2036 Bell's body is in amber with the Fringe team but it is Olivia's consciousness inside the body.Somehow Walter knows or thinks all they need is the hand (which was the easiest part to access for them in the emergency) to somehow find Olivia's consciousness. There are holes in that theory though.
I still like my idea of the Observers being spawned from Red Peter and Blue Olivia, but what if they are not....
The other Red/ Blue figure in the series is William Bell. He wants to collapse the two worlds to create his own timeline/universe and play god. So maybe the Observers come from William Bell.
- Bell has the "X" logo in his nanobots. - Bell may in fact be Man X who kills Olivia in her dream. - The 2036 Observers logo has the "X" in the center of it.
Also possible of course them stem from the mutations and experiments of Jones and Bell. They built (or imitated progress on building) a better human... the Observer.
I originally felt Peter was still in the Machine at the start of this season and later adjusted my theories.... I like the idea of him still inside it though.
It seems like since the Machine is within and without time that Peter is actually "safe" from the Observers. They can erase his perceived existence (remove him from timeline he existed before he stepped into the Machine), but he remains - existing inside the Machine. Once he steps out of the Machine he then "exists" again in the given timeline.
Hmmm.... maybe not. XD I should know better than to try to grasp Fringe-logic after recovering from a headache! XD
If I would be right and season 4 is essentially a type of distorted vision, then season 4 William Bell would have to reflect The season 1--3 Red William Bell instead, since he originally is the one who we were told died in a car crash...but I think From Bell to the Observers in conjunction to Mr. X is a good fit...even if he kills her in s4 and Peter goes home...we know in either case Bell does something Bad to Olivia in the future, but if season 4 has no future, then Red Bell may become the stepping stone to next people who are playing God, The Observers and Wid-MARK.
It might be that they were protecting him from something or some one...or that just for the bridge to be made he had to "rest" for 3 years?? I don't know but it's possible that the season 4 Observers (minus ep 19) don't directly reflect their current seves...unless Peter coming "back" triggers the purges???
Oh, I wouldn't say that. You may be victim to something far worse: You may be almost completely dead-on, and yet be way off (I know; that's where I am right now).
After A Better Human Being, I had the idea that this timeline is a mass hallucination that people can weave in and out of. My reasoning was how fast DRJ's people got Olivia to the abandoned hospital; and how there could be two different Ninas (it never occurred to me that one of them was the one from the other side).
I could never iron out all the kinks (and besides, it was quickly debunked in The End Of All Things), so I dropped it. But I'm glad to see you have either came up with this on your own, or you found the unifying theory to make my theory fit together. My hat is off to you, Laura. I hope you are right.
I think we entered Jurassic park with abnormals posing as dino's!
I really don 't know if Bell created something like a new world or if its a strange dream/nightmare? Guess we will find Friday.. out the
If you have the time read what DarthLock4,an what DarqueMode wrote what their interpretations are they are usually are dead on or very damn close.I haven't had a chance to read them yet..
And sorry i have no idea what was said at the end,i thought it might be,is it impossible or something like that.Ask DarqueMode if he has played it backwards,if anyone would know what is says its him! :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Should be an amazingly epic finale!
ReplyDeleteBelly has lost it. Dude made his own Jurassic Park full of abominations. Who would have guessed Walter was really the sane one the whole time?

ReplyDeleteLooks as if it is going to be EPIC.

ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteOkay they just blew my mind! Wwwwhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa the hell was that, a new world that Bell created???
ReplyDeleteOh my god these guys turn our world upside down, inside out and sideways...my brain is mush!
Does anyone know what is said at the very end? I think its September talking but i'm not sure?
This is going to be huge! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteMaybe somehow they create a new universe a new time line that September hasn't seen yet and it it Olivia will be alive maybe xD
ReplyDeletewhat were that sound at the and of the clip?

someone said something and I can't tell what it was
