Fox started its new drama series pickups with The Mob Doctor starring Jordana Spiro as a young female thoracic surgeon with Bridgeport roots who juggles two worlds as she juggles her career and her lifelong debt to the South Chicago mob.

    I like the premise of this show but I have my doubts about Jordana Spiro carrying something like this.  Also working against this show is the largely unknown cast.  William Forsythe is probably the most recognizable guy on this project.

    I'm "Meh" on everything from cast to story.... I might sample it, but I don't think it will manage to hold me.
