OK with this show Ashton Kutcher is a good actor, but this is a Charlie show. The entire basis of the show was Charlie, Alan, and Jake. Turning Jake into a pothead stoner, killing Charlie, isn't cool. Alan is the funniest part of the show which is cool, at least some semblance of the show's normalcy is there. How long will that last though? If he is going to carry the show why not just have it focus on him, Jake, Berta, and Evelyn? At least that would be consistent.
This episode was amazing. Haven't laughed this hard watching a 2.5 men in a long while. Not since early seasons.
I agree with Lalala though. Ashton is amazing here and part of it is cause of an amazing "support" cast but 8 seasons have passed and still when you hear 2.5 men you picture Charlie and the family dynamic they portray.
Even though show is still good and funny and I do enjoy it, it's just not what 2.5 men is. If it would be a completely new show with this premise it would be different but maybe not as funny as half of the laughs is seeing Alan react to various things Walden does and it took 8 years for this Alan "to grow" so in a new show it would take too long to portray him as cheap, greedy, pervert that he is and that we all know and love.
But like I said before I enjoyed this episode very very much and show is still funny and I hope even in this current state it will remain on the air.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
