I absolutely hated it. I know it's a comedy, but there's no way Lucy actually survived. And what the hell at her getting custody? And everything that happened was so implausible.
I am so freaking pissed off about the finale. None of it made any sense of at all. Despite the fact that I loathe the "It was all a dream" cliche ending, I literally would have taken it in this case. Because IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.
The joke's on Greg Garcia, did he write the show thinking it would be the last episode ever? Seems like it. Writing an illogical story, pulling a Seinfeld-like finale of parading guest stars (nice to see Joy/Jaime Pressly), and wrapping up a plot that shouldn't have been started in the first place.
I'm sure he wasn't expecting a renewal, but it's great to know that we won't ever see Lucy again. I hope Garcia learns from this.
I gave it great because of the whole absurdity of the story (which was waaaaay too out there even for them). But it played out nicely and the resolution went my way plus it was funny. Not the best episode ever mind you but I'm never not happy with this show.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Gah, season three needs to better.
This was... crack fic. Hilarious in a train wreck way. Not really liking this episode, has Garcia just given up?
ReplyDeleteI waited the entire episode that Jimmy would wake up from a stupid dream.
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't logic, in no way...!!
I don't care that it wasn't logical. It is television, it doesn't have to be. I thought the episode was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI love the near zero dialogue in the sequences that follow Lucy leaving with Jimmy and Hope.

it was hmmm strange but i like it. it's only a tv show, in previous episodes not everything was possible :)

ReplyDeleteLol. You guys have been successfully trolled. I'm in love with the writer's right now XD. hahahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteI just thought of a plotline for season 3: as Lucy's husband Jinny inherits all the money she was given, and the Chances become rich.
