  1. Serena has to be the worst friend/cousin ever.

  2. I'd love to see how the writers plan to make Serena a likable character again by the end of the season, because I can't see myself liking her (or Lily) ever again.

  3. Dair was awesome, Serena is currently the worst and Nate banged Chuck's mother.   Pretty good.

  4. Probably by having the characters easily forgive her and then have them completely forget about it like they've done with previous storylines.

  5.  I'm glad Lola finally came to her senses and left the UES. And Nate is kind of an awful friend too. He's always telling someone something that he shouldn't. He isn't very trustworthy. Also, glad that Rufus and Lily are essentially breaking up. I've been wondering for awhile now how they are still together because they are so different. I don't think they belong together.

  6. It's amazing how they managed to completely torpedo Serena's character this season.. I mean, she was never really in the running for friend/family member of the year or anything, but I feel like she's sunk to epic new lows this year. Lily isn't a Van der Woodsen that's been in the good books for a while, either. And I'm glad Lola got out - she still has the potential for a decent life.

  7. Don't tell Nate anything, he'll just blab it out to the next person he talks too.

The Van Der Woodsens are getting worse and worse with each new episode.

  8. They're ruining the Van Der Woodsens, Idk why the writers are making them so unlikable.

  9. Serena has officially lost all the points she gained by handling Dair getting together so well.  Seriously, it's bad enough torpedoing her own cousin like that, but letting her take the fall for that blast alone?  Not that I'm excusing Lola's part in all this, but come on.  She's been Gossip Girl for a couple weeks, and she just let a relationship end because of it.  And she seemed to be willing to let Chuck go on not knowing who his mom was for the site, too.  Lola was right - Serena needs to get a life if she's fighting this hard for a site she hated a couple months ago.

Lily was awful, too.  Again, not excusing Ivy's part in all this, kicking the Van der Humphrey's out wasn't the most mature thing to do, but taking her for everything was rather vengeful, and that comment about it being Lily's money ... although I wouldn't hate for Rufus to get a job.  Or for Lily to.  Seriously, what do they do all day?

Dair was adorable, awful salon idea or no - although I suppose the setting of the inevitable disaster of their first official debut as a couple was sort of irrelevant.  Nate was actually kinda awesome, backing his best friend like that.  And for the first time in a long time, I fully support a Chuck Bass public outburst.  He earned that one.  Plus, he didn't follow it up by doing something stupid to hurt somebody else, so hey.  Progress.

  11. Btw, WHERE THE HELL IS IVY?!?!

  12. Jesus, cameos by real people are always so awkward, but what the hell was that shit with the Oracle club couple having lunch with Dair? I remember watching a bunch of clips on youtube last year of ridiculous product placements on soaps with the actors spending half a scene talking about how delicious this Chex Mix is, or whatever - I could not stop laughing. That's what the Dair-meets-pretentious-couple scene was like, only instead of finding it hysterical, I was just embarrassed for everyone involved. Lame.

I continue to find Serena's stuff pretty interesting... it was nice to get her POV on it in her conversation with Lola, but it's still seems a bit out of character that she'd go after her cousin so hard, even with the "nothing personal" disclaimer. Serena, of all people, knows just how personal it all really is. Unless this is a fed-up Serena response to Lo's Vanessa-ing up the place with her high horse. Whatever the case, I'm very interested in how Blair's going to take it all when she learns what S has been up to...

  13. I disagree I love serena, its S she always be first, remember when use carter 4 ruin Chuck business, she is right she was alone B had D, She even had the spectator, all her friend rarely talk with each other... come on, give her a break I luv her she was really smart this episode.  Love Lola really enjoy her, I think nate can read the fake answer of S, but when he spill out everything about lola being suspicious, I think oh he even notice... and C!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT B EVEN NOTICE ABOUT ALL DRAMA!! she maybe been drug or her phone just broke out, I dont enjoy all unicorns and rainbows of Dair, I Know a lot of people like them, but 4 me right now, I cant feel it "like aww they so cute"... even in the last scene I still feel it like I have a pijamas party with my gay friend... sorry but I dont feel it Dair shippers, Im not in your ship...  how awkward been S just in the next room...oh I forget they dont look drunk, non sex for them...
And Lily and Rufus I understand Lily about the angry about Ivy, she was a liar and in some point a thief, but was so rough the way she treatment Rufus ... I cant wait 4 next episode... luv GG

  14. Serena was a total b**** to Ivy, when she didn't do anything to her!!

  15. I think Serena's character is the most annoying charakter in this show and it is getting worse with every episode. Why can't they make her more enjoyable, I really want to like her.

  16. Really good episode. I even liked Chuck in it!!!!  I was so excited when he got upset about Diana & talked out loud rather than whispered :) I was like "YYYYEEEESSSSSSSS!!!! It speaks!!"

Dan & Blair were gorgeous as usual xoxo

  17. i had to sit throught 22 minutes before they finally showed Chuck & as usual he was the only interesting thing
i'm soo sick of Serena, i hope the real Gossip Girl takes her site back soon

  18. I loved it! besides awesome Dair, I liked Chuck and I'm able now to continue hating on Serena and Lily forever XD

  19. I'll echo the majority here: Serena and Lily are horrible awful selfish people.
At least Chuck's honest about who he is. These two actually believe they're in the right! Which makes them so much worse!!!!!
They can move into their old appartment and live a secluded life away from civilasation so that they won't be able to hurt or walk over anybody else. They're iridimable at this point. (at least Chuck has always had the tortured soul explanation to fall back on. These two do NOT have that luxury)

Lola's good to get away from them. Take Nate too, because he's very sweet around her, and Chcuk can tag along. He won't be a third wheel. Boy knows how to entertain himself.
Speaking of Chuck, totally unexpected twist, but it was nice to have verification finaly. Though I do wonder what Diana's other secret is...

Dan and Blair need a spin off also. They're so far detached from that crowd. They've actually matured and grown up and are much better people for it.

  20. It had it's moments but I feel like after they doubled down on Dair they have put them on the c story line every week since their pretty much the Kramer. I am glad Chuck finally knows (rolls eyes) who his mother is. Now what? I voted OK, no episode this season has garnered an awesome or even a great thus far this season for me personally. I am not a shipper but I do think Dair are a cute distraction for now (but it will not last, sorry). I will say that I am glad to see Nate on screen a lot more this season, even though he is still functioning as a plot line rather than a character, some Nate is better than no Nate. Lola, good riddance, the UES is not for pedestrians even if you are a Rhodes. But if they were going to keep someone, I would have preferred Lola to Ivy but what's done is done.

  21.  She takes after her mother who is just as awful.

  22.  I think it's possible that Lily has regressed to the point where she's more of a horrible shrew now than she was at the start of the series.  She really is awful.

    ReplyDelete
  23.  Agreed.  What makes it worse is that Lola just quietly took the abuse.  She should have been furious.

  24. I wonder why the real Gossip Girl hasn't done anything to get it back.

I'm getting more and more annoyed by the Van Der Woodsens with each episode.

  25. The writers are making them even more unlikable and annoying compared to the previous seasons.
