while i loved all of the performances, mercedes was definitely the best i am so tired of finn/rachel relationship, i just don't see it as stable or realistic was so happy to see mercedes/sam kiss and very happy to have some mercedes/kurt moments, i missed those while what brittany did was stupid and you could tell santana wanted to be mad at her what she did was out of goodness. i love them
UNIQUE is awesome! Alex could not act until UNIQUE came out :D so great. Love the Santana/Brit moment though at one point santana looked like she thought brit was dumb... ahha
LOVED the finn storyline but then it ended with I wanna be an actor?... no DRUM! BE IN A BAND. He never did anything about acting, Finn aint acting Cory is.... Feels like the writers kinda did a meta without even thinking about it haha. anyway yeah.
This and last week's episodes were the worst. I mean come on. And did anyone else notice that Quinn was absent the whole episode what's that about? I hope it gets better or I will have to stop watching.
I hate feeling like this, but Glee pretty much lost it. Besides the musical performances, the show keeps recycling story lines, scene and dialogues, and it makes me very upset.
The first season was fantastic - every song had a point, a relevance and a meaning, and now it seems like the songs selection comes first, and the plot comes afterwards. The characters are out-of-character, the blending of the songs into the story is either awkward or non-existent, and sometimes the lines feel too much like a PSA.
The only two highlights of the episodes were Boogie Shoes and Disco Inferno. Hopefully Glee will thrive again next season, with a new batch of characters and writers.
As far as Finn and Rachel go, I feel like they ARE realistic. They went into a relationship expecting everything to just work out, and that they would somehow miraculously skate on through life on love. I'm glad the show is throwing roadblocks at them, because if they really want to be high school sweethearts that actually make it, they need to go through this rough stuff.
That being said, I guess the writers have backed themselves into a corner at this point, too. They've pretty much made Finn and Rachel it for each other, but I suppose anything could happen when they move on next season.
I guess this wasn't as utterly atrocious as I expected, but I'm really sick of Glee's tribute episodes. I miss the days where we got a variety of stuff throughout the episode, when the songs were actually relevant to what was going on in the plot. The attempt to make the disco theme relevant by revealing that the theme for nationals is "vintage" was weak.
The characters have kind of suffered, too. Will is pretty pathetic at this point, and Sue has lost a lot of her fire, too. I miss the days when she was evil through and through.
All in all, mini-rant aside, I'm not going to quit the show. I still enjoy it from week to week, I just think that it's lost its vision a bit. I did LOVE Mercedes' song tonight, though. She rocked it.
I really LOVED this episode it was fun and sweet and a bit emotional but man it was amazing. I loved that Finn finally found what he wants to do cause he was great in the Rocky Horror episode and I think going to NY will lead to more things and maybe something musicly he's a great performer, drummer and artist he can make something of himself while in the relationship with Rachel. I did think Rachel was being Rachel at the beginning but than she realized that she can't do NY without Finn so that's great for her development to being selfless.
So glad that Samcedes are back together I didn't see that coming but than again I did it was sweet of him to put the video on YT it
I hate disco, I don't like the Glee's tribute way, so I wasn't expecting much about this ...and I totally LOVED this episode, it was fun, sweet, emotional and I think that, for once, all we used to love in Glee since the beginning was in! :-)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
