  1. I loved it! Glad they mentioned the irony in the delivery. It was so sweet between Booth/Brennan. And aww, Cristine Angela! I wasn't sure about the name at first, but I love it now.

Great episode. So glad the show's back!

  3. AMAZING episode! Probably, one of the bests I've ever seen in TV!

  4. This episode was the best episode ever for this show. It's that epic, welcome to the world baby girl Brennan Booth....<3

  5. Glad you're back! Loved the biblical references. Beautiful episode, made me cry. You guys are awesome!

  6. It would have been nice to seen Bones and Booth kiss as they first held their new baby. New parents usually kiss as they bond with their new baby.

  7. I simply love Bones! However, I would have liked to have seen a kiss between new mommy and daddy especially when Brennan said "we are a family". Before, leading up to seeing Booth and Brennan get together, there seemed to be so much sexual tension between the two. We all KNEW they loved each other because of all the looks they shared. Now that they are together, I just feel like I should be seeing more of the love, more of the emotion!! Does anyone else agree??

  11. This was SUCH a great episode! What a wonderful way to start off the second half of the season! I love that the baby's middle name is Angela, what a cute way for Brennan to show how important Angela is to her. I'm not wild about Christine, I won't lie, I was hoping the writers wouldn't go this route with her first name. Hopefully they will call her Chrissy or something cute like that! Anyway, loved the episode. Emily Deschanel is so freaking underrated!

  12. Well they don't really do the "usual"! That's what I love most about their relationship. There wasn't any kiss and yet every little touch proved how crazy they are about each other!!

  13. AWESOME episode, so funny and touching at the same time! Oh and welcome to Christine Angela! :-)
So glad this show is back!!!!

  16. Oh my gosh, that opening scene in the hospital was absolutely priceless haha.. and it was an amazing episode altogether!  Sweets' reaction to Booth referring to him as a friend was so adorable.. I love Angela/Brennan girl talk, and it was hilarious how the sea of prisoners completely parted ways when they saw Brennan was pregnant hahaha.. and baby Bones is perfect!  The irony of the baby being born in a barn after being turned away from the inn was absolutely fantastic.. I may have had tears in my eyes during the delivery.

Ahhhh I'm feeling so many feelings.. all good!  :)  And I love how Booth and Brennan make their relationship work, even in the face of how different they are.  I feel like they can get through anything!

  17. That was an awful episode. Way too many plot holes, stupidity and continuity issues.

  18. Thank you for your opinion. You're fired. :p

  19. I know of at least one person who agrees with you.  I may not share you, but I do think you should feel free to express your opinion here; with the hopes of an open discussion. After all, the poll is specifically asking for your opinion.

  20. The opening sequence was hysterical; especially the hospital tour.   There were bits I liked a a lot (melted when Angela heard the baby's middle name. )  The thing that blew me away the most was that their friends were considerate enough to bring meals.  That  made me smile.  Much as I laughed at Brennen's march through the sea of prisoners I thought it was a little much.

  21. The writers have insulted the intelligence of their characters, and the audience. This show has jumped the shark if they don't stop writing such stupid stuff. We've come to really like these characters, and they've written crap that these characters would never do. A second time father with special forces training would never act like that. And even Bones is not stupid enough to take her baby into a fight of prisoners, and then say he  would not have hit me when he is standing over her with a raised billy club. GEEZ, I can't stand it!  It ruined this moment we've been waiting for.

  22. Here's one person to prove you wrong. Compared to past episodes, this one was "fire the writers" quality.

  23. Bad episode, but then again Bones has been bad since season 7, I don't get why it was renewed for another season. *Sigh* now I know why I initially stopped watching Bones since the horribly aweful season 6 finale bullcrap.

    ReplyDelete
  24.  It was renewed because it's getting fairly decent ratings, more so than most of Fox's other dramas, which is all that really matters when it comes to renewals.  Does that answer your question?  Good.  Move along now.

  25.  OK, fine.  The number people who agree with you are tiny compared to the number of people who disagree with you.  Is that better, now?

  26. Producers of bones arent really good at hiding errors on the show lol Example when they showed outside of the dinner it was clearly cloudy but when they were already sitting by the window and when the camera was on sweets you can obviously see it was sunny lol

My fav scene was when she was entering the cafeteria and booth was like dont go down there they'll hurt u and as always bones was right bout them not hurting a pregnant women.

    Overall great episode.

  27. yeah i thought that too!

  28. I really loved the episode! The camera work in the birthing scene was brilliant and so was the acting!
Although i thought the prison scene's where a bit too much, with brennan going in to a prisonersfight, but it was, in a strange way, in character for brennan i guess.

  29. Bones has the highest ratings for a drama that is on Fox,that is why it was renewed.

I wonder what would you have done differently with Emily being pregnant? Did you have to actually see them in bed?Would that have made a difference going into season seven?

    ReplyDelete
  30.  We can all agree to disagree that is what its all about, that being said Brennan would walk into a fight, that is Brennan, just like wanting to give birth in field squatting, that is Brennan, not giving birth in a hospital.Wasn't it just like Brennan to check for body fluids on the floor, walls and ceiling? That is Brennan..As for Booth all he wants to do is keep Brennan happy, and healthy during her pregnancy. Really how do any of know how we would react? What is it that you would have done differently?

  31. It was good, and i loved it! I found a few moments where it was over the top but isn't that what we like and come to expect from Brennan and Booth? Well, okay mostly Brennan,ha! Wow i can't believe some of the comments here,go figure?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yes that is exactly what Brennan would do! :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and express their opinion even if we don't agree, but there is no reason to be snarky about it.What i like most about fans of this show is that we can talk about it not like some of the other shows on this site where people are down right nasty..Its not called for or cool....

    ReplyDelete
  34.  I found a few scenes were a bit too much, especially in the prison, and even the delivery ... but yes, that was to expect from Brennan and Booth! And that's part of why we like Bones so much now. :-)
My favorite seasons of Bones are and will be always the seasons 1,2,3. But the show has evolved a lot since this start and some fans still seem to be nostalgic about it... that's the only explanation I can find out about some comments and overreactions to this good episode...
Anyway I'm so happy that Bones is back! I just realize how much I've missed it!

  35. I really enjoyed this episode overall but wish they would stop bringing Daisy back into the lab. She was fired...let her stay fired and only have here show up as a peripheral character as Sweets lover.
