  1. Looks good but Like I'm going to believe the last part is anything but a dream sequence...or nightmare.

  2. Now that i can see it better its definitely a dream!

  3. Wait? What! Regina tied up on a fence? Confronted with the curse?! :O

  4. This show just keeps getting better and better.

  5. I'm surprised no one has gotten a hold of a proper copy of these promos yet.  It's strange that all we've been getting are bootlegs.  One would think ABC would be happy to post these in an effort to promote the return of the show, especially since most shows ratings are well into their spring declines.

  6. Its obviously a dream or a vision and its either Emma's (thus explaining her freakout and wanting to leave the place) or Regina's (thus explaining why she ups the game)

  7. I totally agree that whatever curse progress that gets made will totally be reversed, but I feel like a dream sequence doesn't feel right with the show. They have magic, they don't need "dreams" to trick us.

  8. Prophetic and vision dreams are part of magic.

  9. No. She's tied to an apple tree.

  10. Actually it is now up on ABC.com.

  11. as i said, "vision". A metaphorical representation of emma being Regina's downfall. Of course vision like that would certainly freak out Emma into leaving and vision like that would certainly make Regina try to get rid of her, thus its equally possible that either of them is having it.

  12. I doubt about "getting back to square one".

when this show says stuff's about to be changed forever, it means it. Thats part of why its so refreshing compared to everything else on tv - it does not drag and it is NOT afraid of doing something that upsets the status quo.
Frankly I fully expect curse to be fully broken by the end of s2 and for show to continue well after that for 6 or 7 seasons more.

  13. The most logical explanation would be Regina having the vision/dream/premonition because it would be too early to have Emma suddenly dream about the fairytale characters being together. I saw Charming and Snow White holding hands and handing Emma a sword.

  14. I really do believe that emma will completely believe in that stuff by the end of season :)

The only reason I do consider Emma as equally likely candidate to get that vision/dream is that 1x21 synopsis has her freaked and wanting to leave the town. Possibly she believes that stuff is real and its one fo her nightmares, cue classic "i am not a hero and don't wanna be" break-down

  15. I didn't say back to square one? So I'm not sure where the quotation marks are coming from. I am saying that if the town or even just Snow and Charming figure out who they are, it is very likely that they will flip it back probably not entirely or we'll have another Killing on our hands, but IMO mostly. Promo writers say things are game changers all the time, especially when we're talking about the end of a season, but I have to disagree that the show doesn't drag quite abit, in particular the middle of this season. We've had filler ep after filler ep, it wasn't until Hatter came on that we made any progress on the main curse--Emma figuring it out plot at all and that was barely. I mean as far as curse breaking we started the clock ticking, we woke up Charming/David, there was the mine collapse (all in the fall) and then Hatter *hopefully* showed Emma she had magic.

I have to disagree with the curse being broken by the end of next season. Logically if the curse breaks then happy endings return and all the "characters" go back to fairytale land. That undermines the premise of the show.

  16. Oh but here's the catch:

RUMPLE NEVER SAID that breaking the curse will bring back everything to the way it was. In fact, HE NEVER EVER SAID A WORD On what will happen once "the daughter of snow and charming returns, breaks the curse and final battle begins".

Its clear he wants the curse to break, but what happens after that happens is even bigger mystery.

  17. I don't want to argue with you, especially not in all caps. At the beginning of every episode they say, "Once upon a time an evil queen banished every story book character you know to our world." That was the curse. By definition if a curse is broken the effects of it are negated, ie, they aren't banished to our world anymore. What Rumple may have or may not have said is irrelevant.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nope. The banishing to our world is HOW the curse was enacted. We know how it works. yet Rumple, the creator of it, has yet to actually DESCRIBE on what it does and what happens once it breaks.

Considering devil's in the details and Mr.Gold/Rumple went this far EXACTLY because those dealing with him NEVER read the fineprint(best example being how he used Regina's deal of framing margaret in getting both emma to believe in magic and regina's position to worsen, WITHOUT breaking what he promised).

Rumple considers his words VERY carefully. Thus the fact that he never ever went on on what happens AFTER the curse breaks is very telling.

Especially since he is so actively working at breaking it and has been the catalyst on bringing Emma into town as well as pretty much everything needed to break it.

  19. Ah ok! Sorry it was late didn't saw it that good, but nice juxtaposition! I love this show! :)

  20. Rumple may have another plan. And it wouldn't surprise me if he is the "evil" good has to face next. But The Curse is the one that keeps them in Storybrooke is what I am talking about. There might be subplots, part of the curse is broken, etc. But if they break The Curse, then they go home. And if they do it at the end of S2, we'll have another Prison Break on our hands.

And on a side note, Hatter showed Emma that there might be magic, not Rumple. And I'm not sure Rumple is interested in breaking The Curse. Did I miss how he got Emma to town? Cause I thought that was Henry via MM?

  21. I'll give you maybe a Mirror, Mirror vision, but the waking up in bed, oh! it was just a dream thing, doesn't ring true for me.

    ReplyDelete
  22. As I said, Rumple never said that breaking the curse would make them go back or fix anything.

We know what curse does, but we do not know what happens after it breaks nor why Rumple created it.

And why did Emma end up in hatter's house? Because of the Xanathos gambit executed by Rumple, who already was indicated to being able to see future.

Also Rumple got Henry to Regina full well knowing on who Emma is and that it will bring Emma to town.

We are talking about the man who manipulated the situation to cause the meeting between Snow and Charming, who knowingly allowed Cinderella to capture him to be placed in that cell, whose EVERY action so far has been carefully preplanned.

  23. Ok I'm definitely going with dream sequence for that last bit of the promo. No way they sort everything that quickly!

  24. Here's the thing. If I curse you by turning you into a frog. You break the curse, you aren't a frog anymore. Not you break the curse and you turn into a monkey. Breaking a curse makes the effects of that curse go away.

I'm not sure I am going jump on your Rumple is a chess master that puts pieces into play fifteen moves back from what he maybe wants. I'm not giving him credit for an assist just because he inbounded the ball. Especially when some of these actions happen years after what you insinuate was the "cause."

    ReplyDelete
  25. He is so fascinating - I'm loving his character so much, but I (respectfully :) disagree that every action has been planned: I think most of the big stuff has been, but some of it has to be smart, calculated reactions to situations as they really are, which very few people really see...
