The Hugo Awards reward science-fiction and fantasy works and achievements in multiple categories on multiple mediums (TV, movies, novels, short stories, etc). The results will be announced from August 31 to September 3, 2012, at the Chicon 7 in Chicago (a 4-day ceremony ? I hope they'll pack their sleeping bags and toothbrushes [laugh track]).

— Hugo, written by John Logan.
— Source Code, written by Ben Ripley.
Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form) :
— Community : Remedial Chaos Theory (episode 3.04), written by Dan Harmon and Chris McKenna.
— Doctor Who : The Doctor’s Wife (episode 6.04), written by Neil Gaiman.
— Doctor Who : A Good Man Goes to War (episode 6.07), written by Steven Moffat.
— Doctor Who : The Girl Who Waited (episode 6.10), written by Tom MacRae.
— The Drink Tank's Hugo Acceptance Speech, written by Christopher J. Garcia & James Bacon.
George R.R. Martin's A Dance With Dragons is also nominated for best novel.
