COUNTRY MUSIC SINGER SCOTTY MCCREERY (“AMERICAN IDOL”) PERFORMS “THE TROUBLE WITH GIRLS” / SCOTT PORTER PERFORMS “JAMBALAYA” — After a wild night of partying, Wade (Wilson Bethel) wakes up with a massive hangover, an uninvited houseguest and no memory of what happened the night before. Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) takes an unplanned roadtrip to New Orleans, and Lemon (Jaime King) finally confesses her troubles to her father, Brick (Tim Matheson). In the episode, Scotty McCreery performs “The Trouble With Girls” during a pivotal scene between Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and George, and Scott Porter performs “Jambalaya.” Cress Williams also stars. David Paymer directed the episode written by executive producer Leila Gerstein (#119).

  1. The only aspects of this synopsis that appeal to me are Wade's hangover plotline and Lemon having a much overdue talk with her father.

  2. The only thing making me want to watch this episode is Wade. (why does Wade have to be drunk again?) I really don't like how much they are trying to make Z/G happen. I just don't feel it. Most of all because George is involved with someone and I don't care for engaged guys going on dates with oher girls. It is not cute...

  3. The double standards here are hilarious. You all realize that Lemon has done so much worse than George, right? Interesting that for once, the misogyny is working the opposite way than it usually does....In the meanwhile, I, for one, am thrilled about the George/Zoe plotline, and the Lemon plotline as well. Wade has failed to do anything at all for me since the pilot and I sincerely doubt that will change.

  4. I can definitely see this story line being dragged out where the season finale is the George/Lemon wedding and we are left wondering who will stop the wedding, Lavon or Zoe?
