  1. I think I'll like it more when I get to watch the actual episode. Cause this just makes me want it NOW.

  2. I'm so excited and so confused all at the same time.  It's blue.  And is that the back of Peter's head?  How is Fringe so good at giving us so many pieces without revealing their master plan?  I never see what's coming next, which is both fun and frustrating at the same time.

  3. As I said before: HOLY. FUCKING. BALLS.

    ReplyDelete
  4. My dear GOD! This is stunning!!!

  7. I am very angry! I watch it, to the Greek blog for Fringe, by accident... It will be so awesome to watch it when we will see the episode than now!

  8.  I don't know if you saw this so i will tell everyone again;

Yesterday this was tweeted from FingeOnFox

JP and JW will be having a live tweet-along during
both the east and west coast broadcast of this
     weeks episode.

  9. What could have possibly happened? This looks awesome! But very disturbing!

    ReplyDelete
  10. This is unbelievably beautiful! Must. Watch. Again!

    ReplyDelete
  11. yeah, I did. Unfortunately I don't tweet and nothing is going to distract me from watching the episode. I'll read the tweets later.

  12. I.LOVE.THIS.SHOW

how syked are we over a title sequence?! LOL  how clever they are!
i love Fringe's engagement with the viewer.

  13. I hear ya!  :D

    ReplyDelete
  14. And again! :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. I like the title sequence is back to being blue but this does not help in my anticipation for wanting the episode now this is really the only one i have actually paid attention to

    ReplyDelete
  16. I could just scream, well i did...but i want to do it again! I swear these guys can make me cry with anticipation!

    ReplyDelete
  17. WOW!!! So awesomely made!!!!
    Love it!!!

  18. What is sad that we actualy are going to live in that kind of society in 20 years even without the Observers :-(...may not seem like that now to many people, but we'll get there.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Has a little Prison Break vibe. Hopefully despite that or the Brave New World Heroes parallel we won't end up with having 4 seasons.

Also I am wondering if we will go back to the amber after this or finally get back the blue version...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Only if President Obama loses the election.

    ReplyDelete
  21. We will stay with the Amber title sequence. At least that's what Joel Wyman said on Twitter after someone asked him about whether the Amber one stays (till the S4 finale) or if we'll return to blue.

  22. Can't wait to see Henry Ian Cusick again. :) This whole episode seems like epic, mind-blowing 42 minutes! Maybe the Observers entered 4 8 15 16 23 42 into the machine and then we landed in this 2036 future. ;-) *little joke*

I hope everyone will watch live. This episode deserves it! And maybe some old LOST veterans will join us Fringies? :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. history like to repeat itself. The Observers= nazis in some ways.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh my god that was fantastic. I think the 1985 version will always be my favourite but this is excellent.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Goosebumps

    ReplyDelete
  26. I really think he'll win.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Let's hope so, Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Doesn't matter who wins. Obama or Romney, there's no difference from a long-term point of view

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes, but it would be only 10 years until Observerville under Romney.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Don't be so naive. People who control the money are the ones calling shots not the president :D. That's not conspiracy

    ReplyDelete
  31. EPIC! Oh, how I love this show.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Let's just agree to disagree. We don't want to start a political battle; certainly not in relation to an excellent TV show. Things get heated around here enough. You are right, but the President is the lesser of the two evils.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think otherwise. Because Obama is more appealing to mases.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Okey...but president is not lesser evil...how could he be if he's just the puppet of the ones that control money

    ReplyDelete
  35. Because he's actually done things that've helped people: ACA, killing Osama, withdrawal from Iraq, 24 straight months of job growth, ending DADT, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  38. SO F-ing cool! Super Blue Neuron-Flux-Imprisonment-Over Drive!XD

I love how some man [Peter?] is the one to face them, but his back is turned against the viewers!

There is also a "city" beyond the hills...(Thinks "emerald city" / capitol hill)

    Community, Joy, Individuality
    Education, Imagination, Private Thought
    Due Process, Ownership, Free Will
Freedom (encircled by barb wire ---> humanity is kept in "a loop")

    ReplyDelete
  39. BEST TITLE SEQUENCE............... EVER!!!! Seriously, best Fringe has ever done!

    ReplyDelete
  40. AWESOME!! Love it <3333333333

    ReplyDelete
  41. Ooops!  :)  it just came out of my mouth and the next thing i knew my fingers were clicking away!

    I'm so excited and confused!
    OMG! This is awesome!!!

    ReplyDelete
  43.  Yeah, I couldn't help but hear it in my own head! :-D

    ReplyDelete
  44. THAT was a cool ass title sequence...  bubble letters.. synthpop music..
    aaand again: love.this.show

  45. You know what would really help people? A decent national health insurance program, minimal spending money on military, less religious thinking and getting rid of political correctness cause it destroys the freedom of speech, better education and less expensive so that more people could afford it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. In the game, there is a cabal of powerful and influential people called the Patriots who secretly control the United States. They control who's elected President, what that President does, everything. The people decide nothing; everything is orchestrated political theater for the public consumption. "Bread and Circuses".
Maybe it doesn't go that far, but there's probably something like that in real life. And you know what, that may not necessarily be a bad thing. If they do things that improve the lives of the people, and generally take care of them, there's nothing wrong with that.My point is, though there probably is a puppet-master behind the President, he's done enough good things to make himself worthy of another 4 years at the helm. Romney is simply a 1% (hate that phrase) thug who would gut everything that makes the US great.

    ReplyDelete
  47. It's gonna be one weird episode... can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Gusto and Robert this is not directed toward you two or anyone in particular, but since you guys started it I figured I'd put in my two cents.

What would help people is if everyone took responsibility for their own actions. Then there would be less taxes, more jobs, less unemployment, and so on. Anyone who lets the President or government or anyone else for that matter decide their future is part of the problem with the US and the world really. Self responsibility. Need Health care? Get a job and pay for it like I do. Need food on your plate? Get a job and pay for it like I do. Need a cell phone? Get a Job...etc.
The reason this country and even this world is heading in the direction of this next Fringe episode is; Because people think a person can fix the problem when the problem is right under each and every one of our noses, and between out ears too.

    Sorry rant over.

    ReplyDelete
  49. So....much.....win

    ReplyDelete
  50. Holy shizzle! :D

    ReplyDelete
  51. You're excused! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Okay a bit offtopic but I loved this:

LOST: popping your cork since 2004

    Hahaha! :D

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow..... mind is blown just from the title card....

    ReplyDelete
  54. I am so appreciative of the fact that maximum thought and effort is put into every single aspect of this show.  Nothing is overlooked when it comes to quality on Fringe.

    ReplyDelete
  55. So basicaly Obama being a puppet in hands of 1% is better than actual guy from 1%? Right on :D

    ReplyDelete
  56. I agree. Personal responsibility seems to be a burden for many people today and that's really sad. How can someone put cigarettes companies to trial and ask for milions of dolars because they've got cancer because of smoking cigarettes. Everyone knows they kill, everyone who smokes knows it and yet when some of them get cancer from doind so, they have to blame others for their own mistakes? And actualy win the trial? WTF?

This is an article written by American who lives in my country for 9 years. In the article he compares our two cultures and examples 5 and 12 have some good points that can be applied for our conversation, but feel free to read the whole article - it's interesting :-)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Oh yeah, good noticed, I haven't realized that...lol

    ReplyDelete
  58. Well, after that, I am very sure that this will be the core of next season...

    ReplyDelete
  59. I have a medical bill of 255,000 for when i had my heart attack, and triple bypass,i do not have health insurance.I am disabled with 2 herniated discs and nerve damage down my leg.My husband was diagnosed with MS his medical is barely covering it .My husband has a treatable Brain Tumor, pills to keep him alive cost us 635.00 twice weekly.Would you like to help me pay some of this off?We are both disabled with a fixed income. Our medical condition wiped out whatever money we had saved and our retirement is gone.Tell me where do i go?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Have you seen Paul Ryan's budget (one that Romney heartily approved of)? It gives even more tax cuts to the 1% (and taxes are already at historic lows), and pays for it by decimating the social safety net; Medicare, Pell Grants for students, food stamps, Planned Parenthood, etc.

That is what President Romney would do to us. We are at a crossroads: do we want to go back to 1912, or further into the 21th century?

And let's not forget this insane "War On Women" that the Republican state legislatures insist on waging. Remember the "trans-vaginal ultrasound" that Virginia almost passed? Where, if a woman wanted an abortion, she had to have this wand stuck up her vagina AGAINST HER WILL? Rape, plain and simple.

    ReplyDelete
  61. And again!  :D   Can't begin to tell you how many times i've watched this,i can't freaking wait till Friday night!  :D

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm liking you more and more every day!  :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. OMG....i just got crazy excited!!! coolest thing ever!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Laura I'm sorry to hear that. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule. But the ones I'm speaking of are the ones milking the system. Those are the ones making it harder for you and your husband. I have no problem with government healthcare as long as the people using it deserve it. It's the ones that think they are entitled to it just because they are US citizens, and some even not citizens that could very easily get off their butts and get a job. I was standing on line in a grocery store the other day and saw a woman paying for her groceries with a food stamp card. What did she buy? Candy and chips. No actual ingredients. What else did she buy?  A case of beer a bottle of wine, and cigarettes. Of course she pulled out a wad of 20s to pay for those last few items. But get this. The whole time she was on line she was screaming into her iPhone.  I don't have an iPhone because I can't afford the monthly data plan, yet I make too much for food stamps. I'm sorry if I've upset you. Like I said there are very good exceptions to the rule, there are always exceptions to any rule, it is just that when those exceptions are abused it puts everyone into a bad spot. I'm not saying that we shouldn't help people that really need help, just that people who are able should take some responsibility.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well, republicans are religious nuts. If I was the US citizen I'd vote for Ron Paul. He's the sole voice of reason, ignored by the media and mocked.

And I don't get why people in the US are politicaly correct. It kills the freedom of speech. Arizona passed a law that if you write anything on the internet that someone might find offensive, you may face legal consequences. Everything is offensive to someone.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Thanks for moderating before it got too out of hand, Rick.

You're absolutely right. Personal responsibility has been definitely lacking, and it's caused a shitstorm of problems.

One big reason why the individual mandate of the ACA was necessary was to stop so-called "free riders". Free riders are people who wait until they get sick to buy health insurance, and thus raise the cost for everyone else.

Since the ACA requires everyone to buy some form of insurance, it would lower health care costs by getting rid of the free riders.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Rick go down to the bottom of the page, where you left your comment.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I think I've said too much already. I am bowing out of this one before I offend anyone else. I can't seem to say the right things on this site anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ron Paul is the only decent candidate running in this cycle. But unfortunately, he speaks truths that no one wants to hear. He never had a chance.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I completely agree with you.I do not have food stamps and i am not on welfare or medicare.Even if i wanted to they claim we make to much money, between my meds and ken's it costs more than what we bring in,its really crazy.I haven't had my heart meds in over 3 years i cannot afford them.anyway i do agree,i was trying to make a point that it isn't always black and white.  :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. You haven't offended me. I agreed with you.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Genuinely got goosebumps...that was fabulous! Can't stop watching it!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thank you. *blush* Don't really know how to reply to that. :)

But I like coming here, because you (and everyone else) are such friendly and nice people here! :)

    ReplyDelete
  74. If it weren't for the fact it was over 1am I would still be watching this! But tomorrow is a brand new day! And a day closer to Friday! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  75. I totally understand that. I don't even have insurance at the moment, either. But you know I will very soon. I am just lucky enough not to have any conditions.

    ReplyDelete
  76. What ever you do please make sure you get a complete physical.Up until my heart attack the only thing i had was a broken nose, colds and bronchitis a few times. After my heart attack, anything and everything has hit me.Just make sure you take care, and continue at least once a year...My situation sucks, don't let it happen to you....

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ha! No need to reply....

It is nice here isn't it,i've been to a few other sites and it seemed cut throat, too nasty, its like some people went out of there way to be hurtful.

    ReplyDelete
  78. INSANELY EXCITED!!!!!! This is just too cool.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Wow. From everything you said, it's amazing you're still alive. I hope you get better, Laura.

    ReplyDelete
  80. You betcha! :)

    ReplyDelete
  81. It's amazing isn't it,you can tell how much they love this show and how much they love their fans!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Yeah i feel like a ticking time bomb, somehow i have to gt my meds or that bomb is going off one day,,,,,,thanks :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. You're also always SO kind to everyone. You set such a great example. I don't know if I would go through all of that, if I wouldn't become a little bitter, but it's something you should really be proud of that you always come on here and cheer us all on. It has to take someone really strong to be as understanding and caring as you have been!

There is not one moment where hasn't been a pleasure getting to know you (:

    ReplyDelete
  84. Darth, thank you so much,i cannot begin to tell you how much that means to me...I try to treat people the way i would want to
be treated but believe me i have my cranky days, and days when i am really depressed..No i'm not bitter but it is frustrating a lot of times.
Coming here, meeting all of you wonderful people has given me a purpose, and in turn it has given me some wonderful people i care about, and with some i consider my friend....Laura, you made me cry!...ok..Its been my pleasure getting to know you, whom i consider my friend...thank you!!  :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. You're welcome, Laura. It's been a pleasure getting to know you too. Us Fringies stick together; through thick and thin.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Yes we do!  :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. you mean Fringe bumps :)

    ReplyDelete
  88. Yes indeed! Anyone who wouldn't agree with their assessment of a show got bashed into the ground. Which usually ended in 10 people against 1. Discussions that way became very tiresome!

    ReplyDelete
  89. I wholeheartedly agree! We should create Laura badges or a fanclub! :)

I kid! But we love you Laura!

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm still hanging around here at 4am. Well I guess staying awake on Friday won't be a problem! LOL!

Okay, I'm really going to bed now. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yes exactly! I is see you had the same encounter i had.The closest i've seen here is sometimes the Supernatural fans get pretty passionate, they bare their teeth but stop short on the bite,..usually...

    ReplyDelete
  92. If Pascal's starting a Laura fan club, I'm joining. Take care of yourself, Laura. And I agree, everybody get yearly physicals -- also dental checkups.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Fan club? Oh,ha i just saw what you were talking about.Really how could i forget dental,we only have one set of teeth! :)

    ReplyDelete
  94. Aww now your making me blush!

    I Love you to guys...really,i do!!  :)

    ReplyDelete
  95. I guess that makes a lot of sense. With the lack of Observers in the "Other Universe".

Observers == Quantum Observations == Our inability to Observe in a quantum universe without changing it in unexpected ways seems not to have improved in the future == Imperfect Observations

    ReplyDelete
  96. Hi guys! Yes MIND LITTERALY BLOWN - AWAY!!!!! I´m amazed! Insanely excited!!!! This show has still so much potential after 4 years!!!!! I´m really proud to be Fringe Fan - Fringie:) and so member of this incredible Fringe Fanbase - you guys rock!!! It is so incredibly fantastic to share with you the same passionate sometimes insane love for an unique phenomenal show called FRINGE! That being said I´m afraid that we are HUGE but mainly international Fanbase, so we cannot do anything about the Nielsen ratings in America and unfortunately these are STILL very important and I guess that because we are so passionate and dedicated we get possibly a renewal but only for the LAST 5th season:( And I was somehow hoping that such a special show could exist despite the ratings.....Could you imagine the TV world without Dr. Walter Bishop, Agent Dunham and Peter....? I cannot.....It would be like to say Goodbye to the very good friends....very sad....:( Fringes incredibly talented actors made their characters become so real and it feels still like we fans cannot get enough of them and their stories! its actually a sign its to early to pull the show into the final season and here agian Nielsen ratings and Nielsen box owners in America who have the right to decide the fate of one show - its really sad and not fair actually that this in fact small number of American Nielen box owners is more important than MIllions of fans all over the world - so we actually should be very happy and thankful that we are going to probably become the final season of our beloved show....I also think that they are waiting to announce the decision until they know this fridays Nielsen ratings for Fringe I think that if we had again 1,2 or higher than there is a chance to become 22 final 5th season renewal if not all we can expect are 13 eps. of the final 5th season! What I´m trying to say is although we Fringe fans from all over the world are VERY EXCITED for ep. 4.19 we cannot force American Nielsen box owners, when they don´t want it to watch live our beloved show on this Friday night which is very important for our show and for us fans sigh:( So in the end I have to stay realistic and try to be happy with what we can get because if you look at this we international Fringe fans can call the possible final season renewal  actually a success with these ratings we now have  unless this is Fringe so imagine the impossibilities .....:) I just had to say this! Greetings from Germany my fellow Fringies:)

    ReplyDelete
  97. no "observers are here" or anything like?

    ReplyDelete
  98.  I think they don't need this hidden message anymore. Isn't it kind of obvious that they're here? :D *grin*

    ReplyDelete
  99. Yep,you said a mouth full ha!  :)

    ReplyDelete
  100. And dental health is important or general health. Oh yeah, I nag my sons and DILs all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Love ya too, Laura.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Yep! Linda did you notice disqus is acting funky again?

    ReplyDelete
  103. I'm from Canada and know exactly what you mean. All we can do is hope for the best with Fringe. Another 22 episodes would be wonderful but if we can get 13 I'll still be happy.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yes. The notifications come back and it takes some work to delete. Also, I miss my old score :(

    ReplyDelete
  105.  thanks Pascal!  I was really taken by Jacob's metaphor that the Island was a cork..  and in the time since the show ended, i haven't come up with anything i like better to put there ;)

    ReplyDelete
  106. I guess moving up in the world isn't all that its cracked up to be,ha! Yep all our points did! I don't think this is final,i couldn't possibly go from having no points to 7 in the the top ten.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Where you able to read my response to your comment? I didn't realize it was going to be like that, weird cause your question was at the top of the page, and when i responded it wound up on the second page at the end...

    ReplyDelete
  108. Which makes you wonder how quality control totally dropped the ball on A Short Story About Love...

    ReplyDelete
  109. Yes. It was a very skinny box. I hope you're right about the scores and that I find myself back where I was.

I think this post has sparked a lot of thoughtful comments and Disqus is going crazy trying to place our comments where they are supposed to go. Sorry, Disqus, but we Fringies get really passionate :)

    ReplyDelete
  110. Hahaha, keep it! It's a good one! :D

    ReplyDelete
  111. Don't want to get bitten by supernatural fans! :o

    ReplyDelete
  112. I'm pretty sure Andy knows about it,he did the last time when i emailed him..and if he wasn't after reading the comments he will be,right Andy!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Nope cause its never just one,you get swarmed, like what we were talking about before! Did you get any sleep this morning? gak, what time is it in neverland? yeah i know its not neverland! :)

    ReplyDelete
  114. I love it too. It's funny, appropriate, and just a little bit dirty.

    ReplyDelete
  115. It seems to be okay now. I noticed whenever there's a post that sparks tons of comments all at the same time, some get placed in the wrong spot. But then they find their way to the right spot.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I think your right, and after the points we should be fine, till the next promo or news about Fringe! I think all hell is going to break loose when that comes out!

    ReplyDelete
  117. lol! Very well could be! ;)

It's 7.08 pm now. Almost night already! Did catch some sleep but not enough, I'm just too excited for Friday! :)

I hope all is going well with you?

    ReplyDelete
  118. except for a lousy nights sleep,i'm tired but okay! I added another clock so i can keep track of everyone, gets confusing with everyone living all over the world!

    ReplyDelete
  119. I love how meta the sequence is, constantly pulling back to reveal new context - just like Fringe itself! The blue title sequence also makes me wonder if this is a future that has already been prevented. Is it Friday yet?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Sorry, I'll move to the US! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  121. I love the title sequence, but jeez I am tired of that old man screaming "Sweet lips" at me.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Someone asked them if the blue was going to remain for the rest of the season and Wyman said no its just for this episode,so i've been told..

    ReplyDelete
  123. no,i'll move to neverland!

    ReplyDelete
  124. Letters/short notes on paper planes... for a long time that had been our (students) way of conversing with each other under strict regim...er...teacher (A Dictator of his/her own universe) in a controlled environment (classroom). It literally was our ticket for 'freedom of speech'... Wondering what those paper planes means in this sequence flying beyond those barbed fence! :D And now this analogy is so over dramatic. :P
Fringed For Life. Waiting eagerly for Friday (in my case Saturday). And Praying for the renewal of this ethereal out-worldly awesome show. Fringe-fans should keep 'feeling blue' till then \m/ :D

    ReplyDelete
  125. Sweet lips? Who said that?

    ReplyDelete
  126. I'll show you around! :)

LOL! I have to go to page 2 to reply, actually the reply field is barely visible anymore. XD

    ReplyDelete
  127. That old man in the commercial that's on the ad before the vids start. "GET YER HELMET SWEET LIPS"

I actually used to find the guy funny, now it's an old man bitching at me every time I want to watch a video on STV. Not worth it.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Oh. I have an extension on my browser that completely blocks advertisements. I had no idea there was an ad before the video.

    ReplyDelete
  129. IF/ when we get Season 5 I bet this could be the new sequence since they have mentioned Season 5 being based on this episode in some fashion....

    ReplyDelete
  130. Hmm... 4.19... I wonder why they chose to make this their special episode...
    Is it a coincidence 4 +19 = 23... a LOST number?

  131. I've learned to turn off the sound until it's over. Seriously, how many of us have gone to buy motorcycles because of this ad?

  132. Hey, Laura, I just got my points back. I'm now in the top 25!! Must have been all my complaining that did it.

  134. It's going to be really interesting to see exactly what role the Observers play in the future, and why they're apparently controlling the world.

Can't wait for Friday...well Saturday as I'll have to watch it the next morning online...poor UK fan that I am

  137. I was watching this for the umpteenth time and notice something that seemed weird looking. At the 07 second mark (right after the flash and right before you see the back of the head) there is a strange looking mirrored image that looks like a strange face or drawing of a face or maybe a tribal like mask thingy.  Hey Darque Mode can you do your magic and find it?

  140. Remember the picture you made of the cast from Fringe and the wizard of oz? Well i just found it on tweeter and some girl is claiming its hers! I'm trying to snipit but i'm doing something wrong.I'll see if i can do it might take awhile!

  141. So true! :)

    We should have jackets made!

  142. I guess parts of it could be hers... the background poster of Oz maybe?

The rest definitely is not though. The photo of Dorothy, Tinman, Lion and Screcrow was from a movie still or poster (I forget) and the faces were from fringe captures...

I'm really not too possessive of things I make for fun.... I don't mind people using them for whatever, but I do find it a bit silly to claim they did it! XD
