A&E'S HIT ORIGINAL DRAMA SERIES "BREAKOUT KINGS" TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE SUNDAY, APRIL 29 AT 9PM ET/PT

A&E Network's original scripted drama series, BREAKOUT KINGS, returned for a highly anticipated second season with 10 all-new episodes on Sunday, March 4. From Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora, writers/producers of the hit series Prison Break, BREAKOUT KINGS follows an unconventional partnership between the U.S. Marshals' office and a group of convicts as they work to catch fugitives on the run.

In the episode titled "Freakshow", airing on Sunday, April 29 at 9 PM (ET/PT), Max Doyle is the latest felon to escape. The lack of belonging Max has felt all his life is only partially assuaged by the fact that he's turned himself in to a premier escape artist. Max's talent creates a challenging case for the team. Meanwhile, not all of the Kings are on this case... at least one stays back to follow a clue left by their nemesis, Damian (Jason Behr).

Immediately following, at 10 PM (ET/PT), in the episode entitled "Served Cold", the hunt for Damian continues. Still barred from working on the case, the Breakout Kings do what they need to do to bring their enemy down but they are soon faced with an impossible choice.

  1. That's fast I feel like season 2 just started :(

  2. Here's hoping it kicks major ass and we see Damien get taken down, Jules and Lloyd hooking up, and no cliffhanger on the chance it isn't renewed.

  3.  They had better renew it.  Breakout Kings and The Glades are the only things left on A&E that keep the channel from becoming a complete wasteland of crap reality shows.  Without these shows A&E would be as useless as networks like TLC and Bravo - two other channels that have become pathetic former shells of themselves.

  4. Haha honestly I didn't even realize there was another scripted show on A&E.  What's The Glades about?  I figure the best thing it has going for it is that it is one of the few scripted shows on the channel.

  5.  The Glades is about a wiseass former Chicago detective who now works cases in and around the Florida Everglades.

    Short backstory:

In Chicago, Jim Longworth was accused of sleeping with the chief's wife and is shot in the ass.  He sues the police department, gets a seven figure settlement, and moves to Florida to work easy cases for the FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) and play a lot of golf.

    It's a halfway decent procedural.

  7. This show better be renewed.  It's one of the few shows that isn't Sy Fy that I like.

  8. 100% agree with everything you said! If I'm recalling correctly, the ending to season 1 was super cliff-hangery (everyone's families being put into witness correction while they assessed if Carmen knowing their identities might get them killed) so I'm really hoping they won't do that again with this finale. I'm really nervous about the show getting renewed for another season as the network seemed to all ready be lacking confidence in it as rather than increasing the episode order after the first season they decreased it from 13 to 10 and rather than improving this season, it seems the ratings have been lower. I'll be so sad if it does get cancelled and it'll be even worse if that cancellation also leaves us with an unresolved cliffhanger!

  9. Agreed. I love Lloyd. Hope him and Jules get´s some good scenes before the season is over.

I´m sure they will deal with Damien before the end of the season.

  10. Ya hopefully A&E aren't expecting stellar ratings and are fine with where Breakout Kings ratings are at, at least enough to renew it.

  11. It just started and now the season is over... I'm sad and excited at the same time to watch the finale!!!
    Lloyd/Damian dynamic is fantastic.

  12. I hope Breakout Kings is renewed for a third season.  The character are varied and different from the average crime show.  Lloyd Lowery is especially interesting and  Jimmi Simpson plays his role brilliantly.  Always there is an undercurrent of the characters interpersonal relationships .  These are character we root for.   Trying to make such different people work together for a common goal makes this show work.

  13. This show must continue, maybe promote it better, I know allot of people just finding out about it!
Bring Dog The Bounty Hunter into the mix if you need rating, but please don't cancel the show!!!

    Randy:(

  14. If they agree to tell the truth in the end about Ray, they will break him out of jail in the next season. This will be great!!
