  1. Ugh, Castle totally misread the situation. And oh God, he's so mad and I think Beckett is figuring it out. And poor Alexis. I wish he had confronted Beckett. Oh God, this won't end well.

That last shot was terrifying. What is he going to do next?

  2. A little disapointed about the endung

  3. Esposito...you can find some comfort in the knowledge that Ryan will be sharing your fate. I thought long and hard about the appropriate gun, and considering how badly you two messed everything up, I finally came to a conclusion:

May God have mercy on your souls.

I can understand why Castle is so upset, even if his conclusions are flawed. He looked practically crushed there when he said he thought they actually had a future together. Damn good acting there.

But now he can barely stand to be around Beckett and she has no idea why, although she's picking up on it. Stana looked stunning this episode by the way.

Now this episode is going to make the next one more interesting, because Castle now believes she doesn't share his feelings, and is even embarrassed about them.

That one reveal did a real number on Castle. Their dynamic is screwed up again and this time it's not his fault.

  4. AW fuck this episode was actually good. But for chris sakes get them together are STOP this. I'm getting so bored. If you guys arnt tell me how you do it please. I guess Bones kinda drain me from my patience (pacience... passience.. aw shit :S)

  5. LOL, it is patience. You were right the first time.

  6. You had no patience for your patience.

  7. So sad but it was AWESOME!!!

I knew it was going to happen like this. I think that Beckett won't find out that Castle knows until later. I think that she'll find out Castle's secret and get mad and then he'll throw it back in her face.

  8.  Aw Beckett, you blew it and Castle is devastated, now does Castle listen to mom and move on? It was a good episode but shit i can't get Castles face out of my mind.

This will probably last till the season finale,i just hope we don't have to wait utill next season...

  9. My first reaction after episode? Fuck, fuck, fuck! Sorry, but I'm so angry. I expected it will happen but still, I fell so angry. I understand Rick fell disappointed and upset but he could be an adult and confront with Beckett... I hope Kate will do something after her conversation with Lanie.

The hug advantage of episode is the case. Really interesting and gripping :)

    1. In ONE episode? If this were the finale I'd be FURIOUS, but there's plenty of time to work through this. I think the issues deserve more time to be honestly worked through in a believable fashion. I'm thrilled they are FINALLY doing this story. Do I wish they'd started it earlier? Yeah, but five episodes is a good number to work with.

  11. The pain makes the magic. I felt it was so unfortunate when she said she remembered every second, but then she didn't say since when she actually remembered all of it. He, again, supposed that it was always like that. But it's going to be rocky roads to come.
And then I thought. It the attraction between those 2, their chemistry that keeps us on our toes wanting more, just as Mulder and Scully did - it was when whey finally did form a couple, although so briefly, that the show went on a slow downward trend. It was the same with Willis and Shepherd in Moonlighting, and so many more. The pain of never seeing it actually come to be that keep us coming back for more. Biggg sssiiiggghhhh...

    1. Uh, no. Moonlighting went to hell because the behind-the-scenes mess had them get together and break up within three episodes then never be on-screen together for months and when Shepard came they had her marry some guy she and the audience had just met. People wanted to see them really be together as a real couple, not just see them get into bed. And X-FILES started it's downward spiral after season five because they tried to hold Mulder & Scully apart when there really wasn't anywhere else for the characters to go. They got stuck in a holding pattern and tried various things to make things "funnier." The story started going all over the map, while the relationship got boring, then DD left and it REALLY got boring.

It's hard to say if letting a relationship happen in a realistic timely fashion will kill a network show because that circumstance has NEVER HAPPENED. Well, expect for maybe Scarecrow & Mrs. King....but Kate Jackson got ill and they couldn't do the next season. :(

  13. Brilliant! I mean it's sad, but SO in character. Castle thinks he KNOWS why Beckett lied. He's devasted, but it's because he's making up a story instead of checking the facts - so like him!

  15. Not surprised with the ending. It's not the finale just yet.

That being said, normally I can guess the Perp of the episode halfway tru, but this time I was actually left guessing. Tho I knew (ofc) right away the first suspect was an obvious red herring, as was the guy who actually dropped off the rucksack. Still a good episode, you could just feel this sorta of tension throughout the entire episode.

Something's gotta give soon though. Fingers crossed for the finale.

  16. This episode was awesome, no doubt about it. The case was great (though I knew that reporter had something to do with it), the dynamic was great, as well. I'm kind of frustrated with the whole secret thing though. And I feel for Castle... so bad !

  17. Awesome, no doubt. Sure, the drawing out is a drag but they've made the circumstances that created the situations at least somewhat believable unlike other shows with a similar situation, but at least from the stuff we've seen at Paley and other cons, they want to move on with it and not let the show be just about the urst angle... Tonight's ep was a good example (imho) where the case and the urst plotlines were well balanced.

  18. True!  The ending was no surprise, after the promo, but that didn't make it any less heartbreaking!

  19. It was not your typical Castle. The bombing was the catalyst but the lies was the real explosion.

  20. Well, as a shipper, I have to say that that episode was very frustrating.... :(
As someone who also enjoys the case, I loved it! :)

  21. I concur on your choice of weaponry, and I give you my blessing to start firing away! Esposito and Ryan won't know what hit them! LOL! XD!!

  22. I thought their would be a big confrontation between Castle and Beckett!!!

  23. This episode was Awesome. I feel for Castle, I really do. I've hated Kate this entire season because she's been lying to Castle. I mean, what did she expect would happen?! Did she really think Castle wouldn't find out sooner or later?! Sure he misread the whole thing, but it's pretty understanding why he did. Of course he misread it, what else was he supposed to think. Feel so sorry for him!! :(
I do like that it's Castle who is mad and not Beckett. Like in romantic comedies it's ALWAYS the guy who screws up and the girl who gets pissed, but now it's the other way around. See girls can screw up too...
I'm sure hoping for an explanation from Beckett which will make everything okay and they finally get together!!

  24. I hope they finlly resolve the Caskett issue soon.

the lie situation is really bad for beckett and the next episode will be so kinki castle try to make beck feel jealousy for this new woman and she how express her feelings for him very awkward

  26. I loved seeing the explosion and the 47 seconds leading up to it from everyone's different perspectives, and then seeing all the threads pieced together at the end.  I've got to say, I was NOT expecting the reporter.  It's always interesting to see how the precinct handles a case when there's a different department (like the FBI) with jurisdiction, too.

My heart broke for Castle when Beckett told the witness she remembered everything from her shooting.. the look on his face!  :(  And now he doesn't think he means anything to her?  Ugh.  So sad.

Beckett knew something was seriously up with Castle in the last half of the episode, so hopefully she just comes clean on her own soon so they can hash it out.  I foresee an angry, emotional confrontation in our future!

  27. they are setting up nicely for some sort of big showdown between Castle and Beckett for the finale I think. She doesnt admit to remembering everything, he figures it out and does something immature and silly. But when all the cards are on the table in the end, I wonder how they will react.

  28. I loved the reconstruction scene played to the Beethoven's symphony in the end when Castle narrates what could have happened during the 47 seconds.

  29. I have to say I hated and loved the episode in equal parts. I think the case was brilliant, a lot like the movie 'Vantage Point' and I loved it that Castle figured it out at the end.
But and it's a huge but ... my shipper heart hated this episode. I never liked that they made Beckett remember everything and let her decide to lie to Castle because she isn't ready. Because that is complete BS.
I knew the moment she told him at the beginning that such cases make you wonder about the things you don't want to put off that they won't talk to each other about their feelings. Again!!! I'm just getting frustrated and I'm actually annoyed by this dragging out. She knows that he is in love with her and of course he now thinks that she doesn't love him. At least I hope the writers will give us a huge explosion. I want to see a big Caskett fight where everything comes to light and they better give me a Beckett who is shouting it in his face that she loves him too. And because it's Castle we are talking about, the moment she says the words the screen turns black and there is the summer hiatus and we have to wait over four months to see Castle's reaction. I would bet money on it that's how this season ends because Marlowe loves to play with our shipper hearts.

  30. some people think it's predictable but the problem with tv episodes is the length. if its writing a book, then there will be plenty of room to introduce plenty of characters and make you think who it could be till the end. but in 42 minutes, they can only show you a bunch of characters and it has to be one of them. and with 24 episodes in a season, not every one of them can be genuinely suspenseful. And that goes for every case of the week procedural that does 22 or more episodes.

  31. Case-wise this was a really good episode. I had no idea it would be the reporter behind the bomb so I loved that twist.
As for Beckett and Castle - I'm so annoyed with both of them. I've seen a few comments here criticising Beckett for her lie but, while it was a bit annoying, I sort of understand it. Castle chose to make his declaration while she had been shot - she has no idea if that was genuine or made on the spur of the moment. They both need their heads banging together and I hope it happens soon. It's getting to a peak and I'm not sure the tension can be dragged out for much longer. The writers just need to go for it with Castle and Beckett.

  32. well i wasnt expecting him to confront her about it, im sure she will find out soon that he knows she knows. but im enjoying angry/revenge castle, it's cute.
