Ooh. Hopefully it's a moment of truth about Cristina/Owen's relationship in which they come to the decision to end their marriage. Because it really needs to be over.
Everyone's relationship is damaged on that show...they need to talk and see if they want to work things out. They love each other and both have hurt each other. I am personally going to wait to see how it plays out. If they break up cuz of the drama then all the other couples shouldn't be together either. They've all messed up and they have all fought for there relationship.
I don't think the writers will end the marriage. I don't think Shonda wants to. I followed her on Twitter a bit... I honestly don't know how they want to keep them together though. After Owen lost his unborn child and dream because of Cristina and then cheated on her it seems impossible that either of them can/should forgive and forget.
The moment of truth about that relationship is that Grey's Anatomy has irreparably damaged it beyond all recognition and has regrettably tainted both characters in the process. The whole thing is very disappointed. So, I agree with you. The only thing left to do now is end it.
Shonda has already tweeted that she has no intention of splitting them up. Her exact tweet was: "Cristina/Owen: what is coming is hard but it's beautiful and real. I have no intention of splitting them up. I really believe in them."
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteBut I still like the show! LOL, I just meant their marriage. But yes, end the show next year. Nine seasons is good.
ReplyDeleteI actually think this episode might be about the boards... "moment of truth" meaning who will succeed and who will fail.
ReplyDeleteI agree it about there boards.
DeleteHeh. I was also referring to the marriage, not the show. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe they'll finally address the futility of Cristina and Owen's marriage? Or maybe it's in regard to everyone's medical boards?
ReplyDeleteOh oops, read that wrong. LOL.
ReplyDeleteprobably about the residents goin for their interviews
ReplyDeleteif i'm not mistaken i believe that this episode is to be directed by Kevin McKidd.
ReplyDeleteagree with you the moment of truth arrive's regarding results on the boards, who passes, who fails, who get's a job, who doesn't.
ReplyDeletenope this is the one directed by chandra wilson aka bailey :-)
