If you're a fan of The Walking Dead, then you've no doubt noticed more than a few similarities it shares with the zombie sagas that preceded it. But then creator Robert Kirkman has never tried to hide his influences, and routinely credits George Romero with laying the groundwork for most modern zombie tales. Small wonder then that Romero's films number heavily among Kirkman's favorite zombie movies.
