  1. We usually get this news in February some time. I can't wait! I love season seven and can't wait for season eight!

  2. I don't think there is any reason to panic about not hearing anything yet about the possibility of a season 8. It is still early and January after all. But, we must say a prayer to the Supernatural gods that we get our wish for another season of our boys!

  3. I really need season 8! So can't wait to hear some more news about it!

  4. It's too bad Sam and Dean end up killing all the Supernatural gods... =P. Definitely hoping for a pick up and I think it's likely because they have found a Friday night show that works and want to showcase the fact that their popular shows have been on the air so long (Supernatural, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill)

  5. hope its picked up.. surely will want a season 8...
and anyways spn got 2 PCA this year...
it means that we ppl still wanna watch it..
    so they better renew it..

  6. Pretty sure they didn't announce the renewal for Season 7 until late April last year.

  7. It's way too early to be worrying about a renewal notice.  Supernatural is safe providing ratings don't tumble to bad this spring.

  8. You are absolutely right.  While they have on occasion announced in February, it is far too early right now.

  9. "Yet" being the key word here... ; )
In all honesty,I have absolutely no doubt that we will get a 8th season. My question is whether it'll be announced as a final season or not.

  10. I wasn't even worrying. It seems too early to be announcing the pick-ups.

  11. i think season 8 must be the last one

  12. I think people just expected an early renewal after the PCA wins. I would be extremely shocked if they canceled the show after that...

  13. I bet they do atleast 2 or 3 more seasons

  14. In other news, today is Monday...
What I mean by that is, it's too early to be worried about this at all. Give it a month then start to think about it.

  15. I have no doubt at all that we'll get season 8. My mind is already zipping ahead to hoping for S9 & 10

  16. I'm going to be all kinds of sad if "Supernatural" doesn't make it another season. In a world where "Law and Order," "LOST," "Cold Case," and "The Ghost Whisperer" have all disappeared this last couple of years, having no "Supernatural" would be a miserable thing.

  17. I am assuming it is a bit early for there to have been a pick up.  I would be very surprised though if Supernatural doesn't get one.

  18. We all worked very hard getting the 2 wins in PCA, but remember when Moonlight won best new drama, CBS cancelled it.  I don't expect SPN will get axed, but those wins don't really mean much to the power gods.  SPN & TVD are my 2 favorite shows and I watch more series on CW than any other network.  I just wish there was a better rating system than Nielsen, they are so outdated.

  19. Anxious to hear the news, whenever it comes  :)  I like Jim Michaels' tweet - he knows the fans are going to want them to be loud and proud if/when it happens!

  20. if they dont renew c w will become the most hated network that never now a show win two most important prices can increase his marketing  value by having more sponsor promoting products using his network no other show that they have do supernatural did best network, best drama follow fan advicer no cw marketing advicer they suuucks.

  21. Okay, don't hate me, but I am pretty sure we will get a season 8 (am about 75% certain it will be the final season)

  22. Agreed but the majority of this season has felt as if the writers are just going through the motions with very few gems to gush over... an actor can only do so much with a poor script, I wish they would call Eric K. and get him to write next season's season premiere and finale, that would be really nice

  23. I suppose it's too early to say yet but if the CW are going to cancel any of their shows, I think there are others more deserving of cancellation than Supernatural.

It gives the network a steady audience on a Friday night, while other shows which air on happier evenings sometimes get equal or less share.

I honestly feel that Supernatural still has a lot to give and it's up to the writers to find the best creative direction for the show to follow.
The actors are young, still seem to enjoy portraying their characters and the rest of the troupe are very able at producing a good productwith the limited budget that they have.

My instinct feels good about a renewal, more than it did for last season.

  24. The new has come much later also.

  25. Renewal would be the best new for sure, but if CW drop our show,  the writers should be informed before the filming is wrapped.
If supernatural end, I would like an awesome last episode.

  26. Of course Supernatural hasn't been picked up yet.  TV shows hardly ever get a renewal in January.  This is a silly post.  In other obvious TV news, NCIS is popular and Dollhouse has been canceled.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well for CW it is! I guess I mean a show with over 100 episodes. I stopped watching 90210 but i guess if that gets renewed it will also hit 100 next year.
